Vetra Nyx, Maker Bless Sheryl Chee! (Official Thread)

I feel like the turian equivalent of blushing would be nervously fluttering their mandibles or something like that.

I'm gonna go to bed. Night everyone. Haven't stayed up late posting in forums in quite awhile, so this was fun~

Damn right! You said it: "There's no Shepard without Vakarian". I love that scene with both genders! He's the ultimate best friend. I can never decide if I prefer the MShep-Garrus or the Hawke-Varric friendships. Both are soooo good. I hope we get a new best buddy in MEA too. Liam gave off some bro-vibes in the GE trailer, but a human bff? Not likely. 

With FemShep I consider Garrus the canon romance. I didn't find him attractive, but the romance adds a nice extra layer to their friendship. Oh and I loved Jennifer Hale's acting. She's at her best in those scenes!

Don't think she is on the Tempest at first. She was described as a Mercenary Drifter. Like any good Bioware game we will have to collect allies on the way and I think all our inhuman Squadmates will be like that.

My interest in Vetra went up when I found out she was a protective sister because I love sibling stories. Hope they have a complicated relationship. Vetra is obviously not an upstanding member of Turian society, but she will drop everything to be with her family. If her sister appreciates the love but judges the trouble, I think that would be great.

All this talk about Vetra having a sister probably reminds us all about Garrus's family. His sick mom that died before the Reapers invade, glad she didnt see the Reapers attack. To his Dad and sister Solana. His dad teaching him how to snipe and his sister being close to his heart. Solana breaking her arm or leg escaping Palaven with Dad.

After the Reapers I headcannon Femshep gets introducted warmly into the family by her bf.

Lookit this cute fucker?? HOW COULD I RESIST. He was incredibly loyal, wasn't afraid to take the piss out of Shep or tease her but he was always supportive and never disrespectful. He had flaws but they just made him a more nuanced character. He was confident as a sniper, listened to porno soundtracks on his visor, and got his wooing advice from Fleet and Flotilla, what a cheeseball omg I love him.



Also, turians are my favorite alien race. I love the Hierarchy and I love their design. They're tall and have claws and dat voice flanging. I CAN'T WAIT FOR VETRA, AHHHH.

Have to say its kinda underwhelming.

We already know all of this stuff indirectly from the gameplay videos we have before.

I hope the last 6th briefing will be about First Contact Protocols / Land Exploration Guidelines ect.

Hehe yeah, funny how Liam is the best thing about briefing that is supposedly about weapons and biotics demonstration, not the actual weapons and biotics.
