The knowledge, that somewhere out there, on as secure drive resides the final playable version of ME:A (minus the Day 1 patch of course, that addresses the random crashes, low framerates, bug, glitches, balances everything, fixes animations and brings Shepard back to live and on and on and on...) is really ... exciting and perplexing... |

Liam's voice was not at all what I was expecting. I guess there was a small part of me that figured he'd have an accent, since the name Liam typically isn't super American, but I never thought it'd be so deep.
He sounds intense in that briefing, lol. Especially as the group "Idealist".

I wonder if she'll be like the "Garrus" of the group; an easy to like alien that felt human. Garrus was one of the only two aliens I actually liked. So far I get this vibe from her and I hope I'm right.

So, I'm assuming most people here were probably Garrus fans, as well? Did y'all romance him too, or what? Personally, I never romanced Garrus, since I never liked playing as FemShep, and I felt like his friendship with Shepard was done well enough that I didn't feel left out. He's a great character to get close to, romantically or otherwise. That being said, I'm curious as to what drew people into Turian lovin' in the first place? Is it just because he's that cool? Is it the scars? I hear scars are pretty sexy.  Yep, he's the romance for my Femshep. From ME2 and forward (honestly, he was kind of a bland dweeb in ME1) was just a really cool character. I liked the idea of how blunt and honest they were. It felt more real not just because it was "hey, we're great friends, lets see how it feels to be more," but had the added logistical problem of "okay, HOW do we do it?" It really helped sell the idea of this being a hard sci-fi world that there are these complications and it was heartening to see two people who truly care for each other overcoming them into a relationship that feels as real as any others in the game. |
