Okay, so general update on what has been reported about Vetra's interactions with the Ryders: Spoiler alert, as usual.

As I showed in my previous posts the two reviewers, from Kotaku Aus. and MEOdyssey reported selecting a romance dialogue option (not flirt? No way to be sure) with Vetra as Scott. She responded positively. As Ash reported, inviting Scott to come back later.

New update from PCGamesN, with Sara and Vetra.

"playing as Sara Ryder, we had a flirt option with Vetra during our hands-on preview. She didn't seem too into it though, laughing awkwardly and changing the subject, which means she's either shy or not interested in a same-sex pairing."

Bear in mind they all had access to the early game (without Vetra) and mid-game. (All squadmates). Now, Vetra's reaction to Sara was maybe due to the fact she used a flirt option rather than romance? If they're even separated? She might react the same way with Scott, if these are the same options. We need to ask the reviewers if they had several options to choose from.

So again, it doesn't add much to what we know. But I wanted to deliver first hand accounts on these updates. We'll see in a few days.

I will be totally disappointed if Sara can't romance Vetra. I don't want to romance Jaal. The guys can have Jall, I want Vetra.

I hope we get clarity on this soon. If not, I guess I'll find out on the 16th. That's if I get that far.

(though on a serious note, i haven't heard of there being separate Flirt and Romance options in the dialogue wheel? Just that some people you can only flirt with while with others it'll progress further into an actual romance.)

Thank you for the recap. It certainly is too early to tell about Sara, I hope those playing Sara get what they want but I am happy to hear about Scott.

They say companions in ME:A won't be as easy to romance as in previous games, where you just waited for that dialogue option for romance to pop-up and you got lock-in on romance, easy as pie.

Now companions may discard our flirting initially, if they are still on "neutral" trust/terms towards us.
I would like it, if Vetra - like other companions - becomes romanceable after we impress her with our choices during the journey/help her with personal requests ect.

BroRyder is an absolute bet, as I always said. It's implicated by previous Garrus x FemRyder pairing. Only races now are switched.
But EVEN, if she is not romanceable by SisRyder, she is "Sismance" material for her, again like Garrus x ManShep were.

Who knows? maybe the range of choices will be so vast, that even Vetra will become a little pale compared to the range of pairing options ect.

Even, if there will be no BI- Vetra, there might still be a lesbian "Nyreen MK 2.0"

Back to Vetra, then. One thing is that I tweeted the VA once saying that I hope Vetra is gay or bi, then someone responded to me and her saying "Or Straight." The VA liked my tweet and not his, even when I checked back again days later. I know that doesn't indicate much, since the VAs don't know which recorded lines end up in-game until afterwards but... Still, I thought that was worth mentioning.

Okay, so general update on what has been reported about Vetra's interactions with the Ryders: Spoiler alert, as usual.

As I showed in my previous posts the two reviewers, from Kotaku Aus. and MEOdyssey reported selecting a romance dialogue option (not flirt? No way to be sure) with Vetra as Scott. She responded positively. As Ash reported, inviting Scott to come back later.

New update from PCGamesN, with Sara and Vetra.

"playing as Sara Ryder, we had a flirt option with Vetra during our hands-on preview. She didn't seem too into it though, laughing awkwardly and changing the subject, which means she's either shy or not interested in a same-sex pairing."

Bear in mind they all had access to the early game (without Vetra) and mid-game. (All squadmates). Now, Vetra's reaction to Sara was maybe due to the fact she used a flirt option rather than romance? If they're even separated? She might react the same way with Scott, if these are the same options. We need to ask the reviewers if they had several options to choose from.

So again, it doesn't add much to what we know. But I wanted to deliver first hand accounts on these updates. We'll see in a few days.
