We only want to see Kenobi again, no one wants to see that scoundrel, specially because played by a different actor.

Whatever your view on the TLJ, this may likely be a thought provoking video.

Sssseeeessh: Sigh*
Popular Catholic Bishop Robert Barron is yet another high profile Conservative blasting the Last Jedi for having feminist qualities in a blockbuster film.
Anyone who thinks angry Conservatives and men’s rights types and the Alt right haven’t collectively played a fairly significant part in the perception of this film is fooling themselves. How much of the reaction or impact can be attributed to these types will never be know but they are absolutely a portion of the negative reaction alongside others who are strictly upset over more character-driven issues, and more of the issues we discuss here more frequently related to Luke or lineage or exposition than anything political.
comicbook.com/starwars/2018/01/31/star-wars-the-last-jedi-catholic-bishop-barron-review/
Barron's issue with the film wasn't its length, Luke's death, or even the Porgs. Instead, Barron blamed the independence of the film's female characters.
"The female figures in The Last Jedi typically correct, demote, control, and roll their eyes at the males, who stumble about when not provided with feminine instruction," Barron wrote in his review Barron went on argue that earlier Star Wars films were better because in those films Leia was portrayed as needing a male figure to bring out the best within herself, even going so far as to argue that when Han Solo "pushed back" against Leia and her ideas, she became "more fully herself."
Barron isn't alone in taking issue with the portrayal of women in The Last Jedi. Recently, one viewer who also disagreed with how the film was framed pirated The Last Jedi, removed every scene featuring a woman, and uploaded it to an illegal downloading service. Somewhat related... I find this interesting. Conservatives also pushed back against the second Al Gore documentary that had otherwise strong reviews. www.rottentomatoes.com/m/an_inconvenient_sequel_truth_to_power/
And Conservatives also propped up the anti-Obama documentary from Dinesh Desuza
www.rottentomatoes.com/m/2016_obamas_america/
These groups target RT more than IMDB where the same Obama audience score is much lower. m.imdb.com/title/tt2247692/
And the same al Gore documentary also has a higher audience score there than RT and closer to its Metascore: m.imdb.com/title/tt6322922/
The sample sizes for these last 2 films are also much smaller than that of the IMDB Last Jedi score which now exceeds 303,000 people.

I don't know, what story purpose towards the overall cannon would having an Obi-Wan movie serve or Solo for that matter? He was sent to Tatooine to train/speak with Qui-Gon presumably for force ghost purposes and to watch over Luke. What exciting life could he possibly have on that planet? He's labeled a hermit by Luke for a reason.

Darth Krayt could have been so cool. Was he one of ?! A'Sharad Hett was human. But his mother grew up among the Tusken, and he was raised in their ways as well as that of the Jedi. After surviving Order 66, he returned to Tatooine, donned the wrappings of a Tusken Raider, and became a war leader among them, leading them against human settlements that encroached upon their territory. starwars.wikia.com/wiki/Darth_Krayt

Late to the party... I grew up with the original trilogy and really enjoyed them Vader was the best villain ever The prequel trilogy, they're enjoyable enough, not perfect and get more hate than perhaps what they deserve. They do spoil the mystery that surrounds Vader in the original trilogy, that's my only real niggle with them. The Force Awakens, a poor rehash of A New Hope. Felt really underwhelmed after suffering through it, even mum didn't like it. Rogue One, this I really enjoyed, again not perfect but enjoyable and seeing Vader kick ass near the end was well worth the price of the DVD In two minds about the ending with all of Rogue One dying... would have been nice to have the possibility of some of them getting away... The Last Jedi, haven't seen it and have no plans to ether.
