If only there was room for someone who's pretty much a fan of all the movies (like me)? I'm the kind of Star Wars fan who's unfortunately caught in a crossfire... Hell, I'll be so bold as to show my list of the films I love the most, and the least. 1) Return Of The Jedi (My absolute favorite Star Wars movie) 2) The Empire Strikes Back 3) A New Hope 4) The Last Jedi 5) The Force Awakens (Depending on my mood, TLJ, TFA, & RO will switch around) 6) Rogue One 7) Revenge Of The Sith 8) The Phantom Menace 9) Attack Of The Clones I haven't seen Solo yet. To be more specific, I love 6 out of 9 (ROTJ, TESB, ANH, TLJ, TFA, RO), and like 3 out of 9 (ROTS, TPM, & AOTC).

So... per Darth Maul in the TV show, is Snoke really dead (cuz, both chopped in half)?

So, a Boba Fett movie eh? Back before the newest movies released, I was excited with the prospect of this film. But now, now I am only curious to see how badly they mess up the character.

I saw Solo. I'll probably see it again. They got a few things right, but a lot of it just seemed badly executed. One thing I liked: Han shoots first.

Do you like that Solo isn't his real last name? Its nitpicky, but I dunno. Not sure what that means for Kylo... I wish they didn't go that far. Han shoots first! The Maul cameo was unnecessary. Hell, they have him less screen time then TPM. Worse? He dies in Rebels. L3 and Lando relationship at the end was a bit much.

Its nitpicky, but I dunno. Not sure what that means for Kylo... I wish they didn't go that far. Han shoots first! You know I really hadn't considered it. I like that his name was assigned, but I'm sorta curious as to who his father is now, and why no one knows his real last name.
>> The Maul cameo was unnecessary. Hell, they have him less screen time then TPM. Worse? He dies in Rebels. I'm glad Maul finally got some more lines, but what was this supposed to be? Is this supposed to tie into something? I thought his resurrection (I don't follow the extended universe) seemed ridiculous given his "death" in TPM, but what was the point of having him in here? Is Kira now a Sith and supposed to tie into some Rebel shenanigans? She basically pulled a Liara/Shadowbroker move at the end, which, even in ME2 I thought was a tad unbelievable.
>> L3 and Lando relationship at the end was a bit much. I did not understand what they were going for with this relationship. The robot sounded crazy when she mentioned it, then Lando breaks down in the middle of the fire-fight and has this absurd moment dragging the robot while it falls apart, then cradling it tenderly. I wasn't sure if it was supposed to be funny, dramatic, or maybe both as uncomfortably unconventional. It was strange
The main criticism I have with the movie is the first 1/4, from Correllia a the battlefield, which seemed poorly constructed and shot. The car chase seemed stupid, the gangster hideout was poorly lit, I couldn't tell what was going on the battlefield. I guess at least we know the origin of Rey's google helmet thing from TFA.

Having seen Solo this evening, I found it rather enjoyable. It starts a little slow, but I had a big grin on my face for large sections, mostly driven by character. Updating my favorite Star Wars movies as follows: - The Empire Strikes Back
- A New Hope
- Revenge of the Sith
- Return of the Jedi
- Rogue One
- The Force Awakens
- Solo
- The Phantom Menace
- The Last Jedi
- Attack of the Clones

Well Maul was brought back to life in the Clone Wars animated show and he dies again in Rebels. So yes there is backstory that your missing.

I haven't seen the movie yet, and already I'm worried about the box office numbers and the future of Star Wars in film. I'm still seeing the movie. This makes me sad and angry at the same time. I've been a long time Star Wars fan, and I love the new movies so far. I really don't want to see this go down like Star Trek, which I still can't get over. I grew up with both in some way. I really liked the Star Trek reboot films, and seeing Star Trek: Beyond fail at the Box Office hit hard. Seeing the Star Trek films die off again is something that still bothers me today, and I don't want to see it happen to Star Wars. Filming for Episode IX hasn't even started yet, and I'm already nervous about the backlash, boycotts, and the toxicity towards that movie before release. Everything is falling apart, and it is NOT---Goddammit I will continue to say this until the day I die--it is NOT because of Disney/LucasFilm. It is because of some of the most horrible examples for fans I have ever seen. Rational, and well thought criticism is well deserved when it counts. Saying sh*t like what I've online is not well deserved. Things like death threats and bullying are not a justifiable thing to do. These people will not be happy until there is nothing left. Actually, they'll hopefully see the error of their ways once Star Wars is gone for the next decade, if they do not stop their horrible, toxic, and self righteous BS.

Actually, they'll hopefully see the error of their ways once Star Wars is gone for the next decade, if they do not stop their horrible, toxic, and self righteous BS. There have been rumors/ whispers/ news that they could be developing as many as two new Star Trek movies with one, maybe even both of them, being set in the 'JJ verse'. And Discovery may be the best thing that has ever happened to Trek, despite some of its issues, it had a very strong first season. Onto the issue at hand. I believe, quite certain, in fact that despite all the 'toxciicity' from some people on the internet banging their drums about and making noise the movie still sold over a billion dollars worth of tickets and was quite popular on blu ray. Ultimatley we will have to wait till Episode IX to see if there is any truly negative fall out but until there is all the noise and toxcicity and people barring their fangs at the fans who dare to express a different opinion is just...that. The only thing that matters is ticket sales. As an aside despite the amount of people who seem to hate it online the movie seems to have done quite well in my personal friend circle in real life. I do not know anyone who hated, no one who thinks this movie has ruined Star Wars for them. Etc.

Dear Millennials; one possible reason why the "Lando mourning his Droid lover" scene was strange/uncomfortable for you is because it was likely meant as Satire. That is; roasting your ENTIRE generation & the asinine way you are all SO attached to your fucking iPhones. Think about it Oh & it's not the 1st time...
