WAY better than the old EU's explanation that the Death Star architects wore idiot hats. I'll make my list later. This just reminded me of this video: Lol that's great.

I didn't enjoy it. Once I saw toddler Darth Vader being more proficient with technology than seasoned adults, I was already losing it. When midichlorians became a thing? I was done. Hell, even the sequels knew better than to touch on that. I cannot argue with this. It was a deeply flawed movie, that I somehow enjoyed despite the horror of some of it. I would never have argued on this forum that it is a good movie. I would argue all day that I enjoyed it. That is the difference, I think. Makes sense. There are any number of movies out there that are complete shit that I love anyway.

Ok, I have a new game. Best single scene/sequence in every Star Wars movie, even the bad one. My picks: Episode 1: Duel of Fates. Nuff said. Episode 2: "Begun...the Clone War has." *Queue Clone Troopers with Imperial March and Palpatine* Honorable Mention: Jedi Rescue in the Geonosis Arena Episode 3: Order 66 and the march on the Jedi temple. The Dark Side incarnate. Episode VI: For my taste, I choose Cantina scene. It's the first sequence in Star Wars that made me realize it's a big galaxy with all of these different alien creatures, we meet Han Solo for the first time, and Obi-Wan gets to be a badass. Honorable mention: Battle of Yavin Episode V: Battle of Hoth. My personal favorite battle sequence in the whole saga. Episode VI: Literally everything that takes place in the Emperor's Throne Room during the final act. When coupled with the surrounding action on both Endor and in space, this is when Star Wars peaked. Having all the surrounding conflict, when at the heart it's a very personal fight between the noble hero Luke, and the tragic figure of Vader and his Dark Lord, the Emperor. Honorable Mention 1: Luke & Vader on Endor. This scene is easy to miss, but it is so lovely, in the lead-up to the Throne room, to have the single scene in all of Star Wars when Luke and Vader just talk. No violence, or even much action at all. But the dialogue and the emotional core of the final act is laid out in two minutes of screentime. Honorable Mention 2: Luke's reveal to Leia of their relationship, and Han's comforting her. The dialogue, the acting by all three leads, and John Williams hitting it out of the park with the music shifting between the Force theme when Luke is talking with her, and the Romance theme when Han walks in. MAN. I can't NOT mention this scene. Episode VII: "It's True. All of it." Nothing better than Harrison Ford chewing up scenery in the role that started his career. And the Force theme playing as he talks about it. So far, this has been my favorite scene from the sequels. Honorable Mention: Poe and Finn escape. I like how this sequence sets up Finn's character, and I really liked Poe giving him his name. Episode VII: Kylo kills Snoke, and the battle with Snoke's Guards. For once, we get to see a Dark Side apprentice kill his master for power, not love. Literally the one thing I like in this movie, but it is there. Had Snoke been given some real backstory and character motivation, I'd like it a lot more. And the choreography in the fight is a bit off, but such is life. Rogue One: Galen Erso's hologram explaination of the flaw in the Death Star, and his part in it. This scene justifies the movie's existence, and I LOVE it. WAY better than the old EU's explanation that the Death Star architects wore idiot hats. Solo: Han Solo meeting Chewbacca and escaping the mud planet. I'll admit, it didn't happen the way I thought it might, but that doesn't make it bad. Far from it. This scene might change after I get the Blu-Ray and watch it again. My memory's a little foggy for some scenes. Honorable Mention: The double/triple cross at the end of the movie. Really good underworld/crime movie level stuff. Enjoyed it thoroughly. Again, I'm a little foggy on the details, but I recall it being really fun to watch. But there is önly 3 Star Wars mövies.

Anyone got any interesting theories on why Rey in TFA was dreaming of the island that Luke was on? She's probably going to "bring balance to the Force" in a way that Anakin and Luke couldn't. Maybe that's how they'll explain why she's uber-powerful.

Before TLJ I would have said a Skywalker connection since Anakin's lightsaber was calling out to her. However, TLJ took a complete dump on that. Maybe she was seeing future? Was definitely some Force shenanigans at play. If it was just the future then that would be sorta lame. Its more interesting if she were being directed to find: - The ancient Jedi temple - The Darkside cave - Luke Hmm... light saber calls to her... planet calls to her... I guess that could be true. Its similar to how the force guided Kanan, Ezra, and Ashoka in Rebels because they had or have a destiny.

TPM-The Maul, Obi Wan, Qui Gon duel
AOTC-Obi Wan vs Jango
ROTS-Obi wan vs Anakin
ANH-The first appearance of Darth Vader.
ESB-Luke vs Vader
ROTJ-Han Solo rescue scene and the Luke vs Vader duel.
TFA-Han and Chewbacca coming aboard the Falcon.
R1-I generally like everything about this movie but if I had to pick I guess it would be Vader destroying those rebel soldiers in the end.
TLJ-Luke vs Kylo
