That's gotta be an awkward moment when he joins the other force ghosts. "Whoa man, looks like you died from a lightsaber wound there. Did you actually fight a sith lord?" - "Well ... technically, yes."

I too just finally finished watching Book of Boba Fett and they made Maul likeable and now Fett is interesting and likeable to so Disney has redeemed more characters then they have destroyed. I must say in terms of the whole thing in the end that this show pretty much went through the same arc as Hawkeye did for me. Throughout most of the series the only interesting parts was episode 2 and then of course the 'special guest appearance by' sections of the show. But the season finale changed all of that and it really came together in a very satisfying big scale conclusion where all the plot lines converged and we got some great moments of character, stakes, and even a bit on the Creed and the codes of these characters. Also continuing along with the Rogue One tradition of battles in Star Wars of having ups and downs to it which continue to do them justice. Speaking of which though I mean telegraphed as hell I suppose but the fact the Freetowners came to join them because they shot Vanth, yeah this was your problem in the end of the day and you had to make a stand because you may want to ignore it, but it won't ignore you. But yes they did show up at the last minute when it looked like all hope had been lost but then as a specific instance of the above oh wait now they have some pretty power droids backing them up. Though badguys can't shoot and the droids blasters seemed a bit underpowered and a bit unyieldy so yeah Star Wars continues to be Star Wars in some regards.
The mods continue to be some of my least favorite additions to Star Wars. They just feel like they don't belong at all, which I suppose is a weird opinion for me to have but I have it...and they really continue to just come off as weird and uncanny valley throughout the season and in this episode.
Speaking of that to...at the end of the day when Fett was facing Cad Bane I almost expected Mando to come along and save him at the end given how much Cad Bane was going on about 'you can only rely on yourself' and given how much of this series was spent having Fett trying to build up alliances it would have been fitting. Yes a 'Disney Cliche' maybe and maybe this is still fitting he overcame him one on one...and well I don't especially like Cad Bane so there is that.
Ming Na Wen continues to be a treat. This is basically only the second role I know her in but given that her first role was a somewhat slimey politician in Stargate Universe it does show her range and she is an utter bad ass. Second favorite 'bounty hunter' type role after Mando.
Anyways only real spoiler note on the series is I think Star Wars now is trying to speak out against extremism...which is probably a good thing. And well finding your own code and your own way. I am not entirely sure and I think a lot of this may be answered in season 3 to see if the Armorer was right...but the Armorer went on this long tale about how the Mandos fell because they violated their creed. And it was a pretty tale but really my first thought in it was that this was kind of a logical flaw...and something extrmists say all the time. 'Oh if we only did this one very specific thing that our creed believes in we'd be OK!' but really the Empire was a massive military force and they clearly used a lot of resources to hit the planet after Bo Katahn's uprising...so it had little to do with her not winning the Darksaber in combat.
Which then brings me to Luke and Grogu because something similar is going on here. It was pretty off putting to hear Luke spout off the same Jedi nonsense that the Jedi has probably been spouting off for generations and blackmail Grogu and give him an ultimatum. Until I realized yes that was the point, yes he is still trying to figure things out with Ahsoka (though I am a bit surprised she is still given credence to Jedi arrogance at this point) and he only has bits and pieces of training from Yoda and Obi-Wan to fall back on. All of this is setting up the mistakes he made with Ben's training and the rise of Kylo Ren so all of this does check out. But it always hurts to see my boy spouting off that nonsense. But then Grogu goes off with Mando and wears the shirt and still uses the force. Which again suggests a Jedi/ Mandalorian hybrid. A merging of these two cultures, styles, and philosophies. A moderation of the two away from their extremism and perhaps, much like the Sequels later, the realization that Jedi dogma isn't that healthy and someone can still be a little emotional without losing control. so probably...High end tier 3 I guess? I don't know that last ep was so awesome by and large that it enhanced my enjoyment of the season as a whole but I don't want to forget that the show wasn't doing it for me until that moment either. Though the theme is lit as hell.

I mean… it was self defense, but… yeah. Like I wouldn’t hate Poe, but Finn kinda should have? Or at least addressed that. I didn’t think about that before. XD man his arc was just mishandled 100% wasn’t it?

This is the same Finn who within the day is cheering when he and Poe kill many more of his fellow brothers and sisters, so I wonder why this one person was so important. Have to admit, that was one thing I never liked about Finn. He should have been one who showed sympathy, since he knows what hell the stormtroopers went through.

I mean I honestly think Finn should have been the main character. I do like Rey, or the idea behind her character at least. But I find the idea of a stormtrooper breaking programming and learning the force to be pretty dang cool.

Because Luke hasn't been haunted by the ghost of a Jedi master since the Death Star, amirite? When the movies first came out, no he hadn’t. Luke’s face is one of shock and surprise when he sees Obi-Wan’s ghost there. He even asks “Ben?” as his first word to Obi-Wan because he can’t believe what he’s seeing. If he had been showing up before that to train Luke, Luke wouldn’t be surprised. Also defeats the purpose of being sent to Yoda if Obi-Wan could just train him.

Because Luke hasn't been haunted by the ghost of a Jedi master since the Death Star, amirite? For two years after the Death Star's destruction, mind you. If that was Rey she would have TK'd the lightsaber, and cut herself down in less than one second. Successfully use force suggestion on the Wampa and... ah fuck it - Rey would have never been in that situation because she would have sensed, and struck the wampa down before it attacked her. Also, Obi Wan's force ghost's first appearance after the DS1's destruction was in Marvel's Star Wars 1977 series comics, and Luke canonically learned about telekinesis after witnessing a force sensitive use the ability in the 1978 novel 'Splinter of the Mind's Eye'.

My apologies for being mistaken then. However, this was clearly not communicated to the cast and crew since as I mentioned Luke’s reaction makes no sense if this wasn’t the first time seeing Obi-Wan’s ghost.

I don't want to give Lucas credit because he forgets things and i think he did in this case too, but when Obi Wan first appeared physically (not as a disembodied voice) to help a restrained Luke who was captured by bounty hunters, and in disbelief like he had just smoked bad deathsticks. Nearly all later encounters that followed had a similar reaction from Luke.
