Well, I just saw episode 3 of The Acolyte, color me disappointed with Disney Wars yet again: almost nothing happens the entire episode, the pacing is as slow as it gets, four Jedi in scene and not a single lightsaber is ignited... after those two first episodes I expected a bit more. Hopefully there's more adventure in the following chapters, but I have the feeling we stand before yet another disappointing product by Disney.
What disappoints me the most about this episode is that other shows such as Carnival Row and That Dirty Black Bag have successfully used the "entire episode flashback" technique, as those shows revealed a wealth of information, lore, plot development and character exposition in those flashback episodes. The Acolyte sadly wasn't able to.
