I'm curuious if any of the folks here who say it's all up to personal tastes thinks she is not attractive. She's not super attractive, imho. I'm not a fan of spaghetti arms, toothpick legs, or pear-shaped bodies, and I'm hoping that Ryder will be more hourglass than pear-shaped, and have more muscle on her body than Shepard did. I'm also not terribly crazy about super-long hair, especially on someone who should have more important things to do with her time than muck around with her hair. Of course, I'd need to know more about her personality and whatnot to decide whether I find her hot, since that has a lot to do with attraction for me. I'm also trying to figure why people think this guy:  Is sooooo ultra-hunk. I'm not here to insult anyone's tastes, but he looks pretty average to me. He's in desperate need of a razor to get rid of the sparse stubble, and the haircut is 'meh' at best. To be fair, the N7 trailer shown a better and more updated look, even though I'd still prefer to use the CC for my character. That's fine - but I still think both versions (default Scott & default Sara) are, and are intended to be, fairly average to somewhat above average looking. Individual players can, of course, do as they like with the CC once the game is in their hands. Of course, I'm also trying to figure out what SJWs have to do with where any character falls on my personal attractiveness scale... |

I'm not here to complain that any of the characters aren't up to my personal standards, though that's what the OP (and some other respondents) have been doing here. I've never really cared much about the appearance of any character in any game, and feel zero sense of entitlement where that's concerned. We do have different personal tastes, however, and I'm glad that BioWare is offering characters with different appearances to appeal to different tastes. |

I just don't get it. I can't understand why some people are getting this upset over a few female characters that don't fit into their exact type. Do you really think people are "outraged" and "getting this upset," or are you just saying that because it makes it easier to argue? You missed the entire point. That literally has nothing to do with what I said. Pretty much your entire post doesn't address the point of mine. I don't know if my point just went over people's heads. The rest of your post is just you putting words in people's mouths and pretending everyone is one person. And this one isn't aimed just at you, but claiming that someone is feeling some type of way doesn't work if they can just tell you you're wrong. It's like that episode of family guy where Peter farts in an elevator and tries to tell the other guy it was him. Also, there's nothing wrong with wanting to be sexually attracted to whoever you have sex with. |

And I don't think that Miranda is attractive. Personally, I think that Vivienne is the most beautiful of the human females in any of the current series. But others find her to be unattractive. Because it's personal tastes. Your or my opinion on their attractiveness isn't unique, however. I neither think Vivienne is attractive nor like her personality, but there is nothing strange about the fact that some people share your opinion on her. What I mean is that you can find a significant amount of people who believe Cass is ugly or Vivienne is ugly but you won't be able to do so with this blonde lady. Btw, do you think Miranda is just not attractive (average or something like that) or really not attractive (ugly)? |

Beside, Scott doesn't look like his face model in that pic. Same can be said in the N7 trailer, though there's a closer resemblance. It's not, or at least not yet, at the point of Sheploo with his face model, so if it stays like this, the model being handsome doesn't mean Scott necessarily is. |

Honestly, I wasn't really thinking of arms or legs, her face and hair grabbed my attention and I found them very attractive. What kind of personality will put her in your "hot" cathegory? It depends - not on me, but the character I'm role-playing. Videogame romances aren't about me personally, they are there for the PC. I don't believe I've ever seen an LI in a BioWare game that wouldn't be considered hot according to some PCs. |

For what it's worth, I have no issue with mods on a forum closing unproductive, hostile, offensive, or spam threads. In fact, I don't want to be part of an online community where that DOESN'T happen. For those crying about censorship, they should recognize that this is an online discussion forum. One: It's not that serious. And TWO: It's not that serious.
So my vote was absolutely to close this particular thread. There's been very little discussion that is meaningful happening here lately.
