The only reason for putting points in fitness is if you use a gun that isn't an AR since you don't the need tank 6 in cloak, with ARs 6/6/6/6/0 is how I always spec him. But why would you ever not use an AR on him? Low on AR amps, cheesing with the lolReegar etc.

4 in fitness means more face-to-face capabilities and thus less time spent looking for right hand advantage. It also means that you don't need a cyclonic to play agressively, even in platinum, so that you can put something more useful as armor bonus : a power amp to one-hit destroy a platinum Phantom's barrier (and to save some ammo if you're using the Harrier), an adrenaline module that makes your character doing everything faster (notably running from spawn to spawn) or a stabilization module (when using the Typhoon or the Revenant for example). The ranks 5 and 6 of Stim Packs aren't great, especially the "8%" damage bonus that is actually a 2,7% bonus when fully equiped. I see only 2 cases where they could be useful : you're not using a gear giving a grenade capacity bonus, or you're running a melee build. If you're not in those cases, skip them, they're too costly for what they bring. Fitness 4 is only +300 to shields, I don't see that being useful. A cyclonic III is +750 (double the base shields), IV is +1125.

I know the math about cyclonics, but still find other armor bonuses + 4 fitness more useful on the TGI than cyclonics + no fitness. A power amp 4 for example add 880 damage to Overload on organics' shields and barriers ; not bad for a power that you can cast every 3s.

I'm not advocating for cyclonic usage, just pointing out that fitness 4 isn't really comparable to it. I generally go with adrenaline or maybe power amp.

But why would you ever not use an AR on him? Pseudo-Garrus roleplay with a sniper rifle; Overload as a stagger for easy shots. "Scoped and dropped!"

I mean I guess I'd just stim pack more proactively with that latency. Tactical cloak and stims and you're still dying? I just don't know that you're going to see that significant a survivablity difference but maybe I'm wrong. Cloak in cover for a sec or two for Aggro to shift then pour on the pain. Do you know how the aggro mechanics work in this game? (If one goddamn smartass says badly I'm going to stroke out, assholes.😂)

Actually, I really enjoy equipping the geth shotgun on the GI ( same color scheme as the geth hunter ) and cloaking then shooting teammates in between waves. It's hilarious cuz 99% of the time they jump then shoot me back. It's 1000x's funnier when its versus geth and I do it during waves.

You get the best of everything. Damage, insane survivability and mobility. Since Jetpack sideways dodge sucks and he needs to "press his bellybutton" to heal up (which takes time to execute) having more health gives you more leeway to tank hits while he does it.

Come on guys... Humans aren't npcs on the normandy. When you say the same thing to someone twice in a row they aren't going to say the same thing both times.

I'm not dying constantly, but in those situations where stimpack would save me, a lot of the time it doesn't. It's not always possible to proactively stim when you have seconds of lag. I do have to work on my positioning and self control in combat though.

Or painted a trooper yellow and walked slowly around the corner at someone and flamed them. But unfortunately we're talking about the ghost. I know, you didn't even conceive of the possibility of such a pleb level class being mentioned. Don't worry about it.
