It's going, however, to be a bigger problem when the writer who made half of these original mysteries is no longer working at BioWare. Same situation as Drew's departure just with Chris Schlerf this time.
The problem with the ME3 ending blacklash is that 2 things coincided in 1 moment.
1) Fans were actually feeling the sensation, that something they love is about to be concluded after such a long journey which spanned accross years... and 2) they wanted to experience the closure at least as epic as the end of Star Wars: Episode VI.
Because this happened, fans to this day often cannot let ME1-3 and nostalgia go (I myself reminisce the trilogy often) and the 'salty discharge' called 'ME3 ending' gives bad aftertaste to this day aswell...
Mac Walters admits they screwed up, but promises to redeem himself and I take his word.
ME:A comes out -> we will evaluate and verify. Simple as that.
ME3 was "solid" til' "Mission Priority: Earth"... (it's like being in the ISS and suddenly in the Marianas Basin... )

What "who lived" and "who died"? Did you even read my post goishen ?
Yeh. I did. I read "hero dieing at the end is a cliche". So, now if you really wanna bring up cliches in this argument, in this setting, we can do that. But get ready to be deluged by a ton of other "happy ending" sequences.
I'm tired of happy endings.
I want one to make me think and feel. I don't want one where the hero saves the LI and lives.

Happy endings don't make you think and feel?
Man, I feel sorry for you
Nice. By me not quantifying, you've immediately jumped to the wrong conclusion.
i really like pathfinder's setting but i REALLY don't like how focused on min/maxing the rules are. it's designed from the ground up by and for min/maxer's and autists. the rest of us normies have to play on crayon eater difficulty just to hit a target. j00t Fires Of Heaven www.firesofheaven.org/

I firmly but respectfully disagree with you @ryderfan
In my view and many, many others's (as opposed to everyone lol) - and I would argue this is an objective assertion - it's the narrative quality itself that goes to shit. I can definitely admit to feeling too attached and I also did so with Star Wars Ep VI and I also had an eerily similar experience with Witcher 3 and how it ended (poorly but so-so IMO) but ME3 is on an entirely different level of failure in its ending and Mac saying he's gonna redeem himself and BioWare is not reassuring until he shows that he's aware the narrative structure and logos of the plot was faulty in ME3. They tried to do something with the final scenes of ME3 that shows they lack the understanding of some very fundamental guidelines of writing (and it's not just for narrative or fiction, really). It's taxonomy, just like in an essay. You can't conclude something that hasn't been brought up and you can't perspectivate to something that's not backed up by your previous assertions. It's got nothing to do with how I feel personally or my attachment, it's objecitvely that there was a huge hole in the narrative that damaged the entire journey in a bad retroactive fashion and damning the future of the setting forever - and it's all in that final scene people have talked about over and over, the child's dialogue and the choices and of course the cutscenes reflecting on this content that encapsulates these errors, It's a very big and alarming mistake that can happen again unless Mac really knows what it is he did that was at fault. That's all.

So when do you think there going to give us more details?
Playstation Experience is this weekend, but I highly doubt they'll show off anything new there (if they even show up at all) considering that they just dropped the gameplay video last night.

They'll probably show what they showed at the other Playstation convention or what they showed last night. However they may answer questions that give new info.

I just can't wait until after the game comes out and they can do a "tell all" at a convention.
