Mass Effect News Thread

I thought of some really great questions to have you twitter users ask the devs last night while I was trying to fall asleep.

Then I forgot them and laid there for an hour trying to remember. Now I've got nothing.

Are we expecting new info this week, or no, because we got 2 things last week?

domi I'm gonna use whatever name I want, I don't care what people think of my choice, and I don't care what names people choose to pick for their PCs - I don't think it's about those people worrying what other players will think of their chosen name, my feeling comes from knowing some of them (some, not all) will feel a bit in themselves about how the combination sounds to THEM. think people are misunderstanding me: I feel bad for those people for whom a different-culture name combination is something they can't personally get past. someone'll tell me they should just get over it; nah I still feel bad for them. make sense?

in other news horizon zero dawn showed 30 mins of explorey gameplay.. cmon BW  I suppose it comes out several weeks before tho.

MP news would be awesome. A hint of what races we could play would be particularly welcome for me, even though I know there are more important stuff, but I would love to know....

Versus AI/scripted characters, that can be sentient, animal, robotic or plant life, natural phenomenons... anything you can think of. The difference is that another player does not control your opponents' actions, only your allies can be controlled by other players (or not). PvP features opponents played by other real players.

Good thing Feb is a short month!

I wonder if we are gonna get the next briefing soon. In the beginning of february, maybe next week or later in the month. Only two left...

indeed maybe we'll get a 15/20 minute one then showing off a little bit of everything. The CC the RPG elements in more detail possibly even how the powers systems work. Maybe even a general walkthrough of one of the missions.

Can't say I'm a fan of showing uncut game play footage for the first time less than a month before launch, hope it doesn't become a trend.

Bioware's usually pretty good on the music front the music they use in their games usually works well in conveying the emotions of the moment.

I will say I am not bothered by the other twin keeping Scott/Sara for their name, despite my Ryder being named Mirai. My name is. Juliet and two of my siblings have Asian names rather than '' English " names like the other five of us. My parents were very spontaneous with their choosing of names it seems like haha
