It's universe and characters have to be pretty darn impressive to make me consider getting it. Guess it is going to be a sort of Destiny/Overwatch hybrid, albeit possibly in a different genre of universe or something. Pretty disappointed. I was hoping they'd be doing another story driven RPG series like Mass Effect. Guess they are just following the trends of AAA titles at the moment  |

It's universe and characters have to be pretty darn impressive to make me consider getting it. Guess it is going to be a sort of Destiny/Overwatch hybrid, albeit possibly in a different genre of universe or something. Pretty disappointed. I was hoping they'd be doing another story driven RPG series like Mass Effect. Guess they are just following the trends of AAA titles at the moment Well, they kind of did it already. There were mentions on them wanting to catch the COD crowd in the past, they added MP, DAI's open word (although to be fair a lot to companies did) was a response to Skyrim's success. I can understand them wanting to try something different, they still have their other two IP as action rpgs with a heavier focus on SP. |

neither do I single player RPG's great MMO's no thanks. Yeah, same. I am really trying to get through SWTOR, which by all accounts is fairly easy to get through on your own, but I just can't get into it. I'd be really disappointed if it turns out to be an MMO. Hopefully it will just have some multiplayer elements, allowing you to share (co-op) your story. yeah I've got Star wqars the old republic recently tried to get into it again but personally I prefer ME/DA KOTOR's quite good fun though but again like ME/DA it's single player I prefer to just play games and stick with stories that I can play on my own asnd work through at my own pace. |

New IP sounds wildly unambitious but maybe it's just Flynn not being very considerate of his words. Well, we won't know until we see it, but it's been in production for a long time. We first heard about it being worked on in late 2012. Think Mike Laidlaw mentioned in a tweet if they did a full revel it would similar to fallout 4 with 6 months before release. So maybe we will get news on it in October "IF" March 2018 is the release date. But ya, both MEA and new IP have been under production for long time. I'm thinking most of the MEA devs will move on to the IP after launch. |

This guy, Schlerf and Chris Wynn were all major dudes on that 2014 N7-day stream and shown as leads. This Pringle guy never got to see where his art was taken and he must've left same time as Schlerf and Wynn. I'm sure there was some turnaround point for this game in 2015 that pissed these guys off enough that they decided to leave. The game also lost the original project director Gerard something in 2014. PROJECT DIRECTOR -- that's the role Casey Hudson had for ME1!
But at least the game does look interesting enough right now leading up to the release. I hope those guys didn't leave a much better concept behind in the end though. You can never quite know with game development.

I'm betting on BW's own MMO. "Bring people together new and exciting ways." (Ick, I don't fancy MMOs) I like MMOs but the drama that can come with them don't always sit well with me. Last one I played actually had less drama than I usually saw. I guess I got lucky falling into the group I did. Didn't care for SWTOR, though. |

Also, there has to be really good soundproofing in those buildings, otherwise it would be really loud. |

20 years of RPG and shooter game design experience and lessons learned. Hmm... and oh... a unique IP. Plus, the difference between ME:A and this unique IP is only 1 year apart. This suggests that these two games have the "same lessons learned" design. So, whatever we find in ME:A to bitch about, expect same for this unique IP.
That's my theory.

Agreed. ME basicaly is an action game. What worries me in regards to the new IP is the multiplayer part. ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸
The online component is here to stay. Nevertheless, the brief description appears to emphasize the MP game at the expense of SP. A pure MP game is something I rarely look at, unless it's a free MMO.
I'll reserve judgement until more is known.

Plural Angara, I'm gonna say it's just Angara. Many Angara, one Angara. English is no stranger to irregular plurals like this, especially when it comes to living creatures. Sheep, deer, most species of fish actually. Yep! Sounds about right! It's just adding the "an" is common with the other species so it just comes out that way sometimes. I doubt the "an" will ever be eliminated when fans talk about them. ,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸-(_MEA_)-,.-~*´¨¯¨`*·~-.¸
I'll go for Angaran (singular) and Angarans (plural) myself. The Angara is the name of the species ( imo).
