Still can't believe the game is less than two months away and we still haven't seen uncut game play footage.

Still can't believe the game is less than two months away and we still haven't seen uncut game play footage. Bioware/Ea is probably trying to see how much money hype itself can rake in. I can just imagine them going Sounds awful from a consumer's point of view but if they can get away with this minimalist approach then it will likely save them a lot of money on their marketing department. Edit: Various sources say we will get things like IGN First during this month.

I get the feeling that the IGN "Blowout" will mostly focus on the multiplayer.

Michael Gamble @gamblemike Actual bug from today: Shooting cover in the room with <Major NPC> loads player to multiplayer menu Julien Adriano @bwjulien @gamblemike Best part in all this is how a Dev from BF1 spotted this tweet and sent us a fix, as the same bug was found during their dev. Same. Expecially the heavily implied multiplayer nature of the game. I hate multiplayer. I play videgame to NOT have to do with real people. I want to be blissfully asocial while I play. I feel I've mentioned it as many times as you'll hear the words "Witcher 3" by now but Resident Evil 6 was in my opinion a game where I totally enjoyed my usual habits of video games whilist playing the entire thing with a stranger. I specifically want no voice-chat and I turn off player names in the menus so I get the illusion that the other player is a real character in the world that is assisting me, but I find some kind of joy in knowing that there's a human being on the other end of the line, and being a campaign-co-op game he can't really get in my way unless he's a bad player. Fortunately I found one stranger and played the entire thing with him and we posted reactions over PSN messages afterwards and then talking about about the game, much like we'd do here on a board. I really fucking liked that experience. It reminded me of when I was a kid and I still had friends that wanted to look at me playing a single player game or vice versa instead of the competitive MP games that I have never found enjoyment in. I'm thinking that the RE6-type game is the overall approach BioWare is going for but maybe in a semi-MMO setting. I actually liked SWTOR for the way it integrated the social aspect and it worked fine whenever I played and only focused on questing and story as well as one flashpoint or two. It feels cool to enter another player's ship and travel to a distant freighter to oversee his character's story missions before you return to whatever you were doing, and it's never overly "social" where you have to chat or be bros and shit. I find myself wanting to "introvert" when I play video games too and I felt both RE6 and SWTOR let me do that while still technically playing with other people. That's all I need. However, I hope the new IP doesn't feel too dumbed down. I expect more than a RE6-type rollercoaster experience from BioWare. I've come to expect branching paths and freedom of choice to some degree -- they'd better not drop that now that it isn't an "RPG" anymore. I'm not joking, but I felt a wave of unesiness at thinking of playng an ENTIRE game with a stranger! I would HATE such a thing! I don't want any kind of people around while I play! I want to be able to play as bad as I want, explore around as I want, without having to worry about the scrutiny-other player pleasure. I can (for little time, and not frequently) only have a few selected friends in the same room when I'm playng, and sometime enjoy a spar at mortal combact or other game like that with them. Videogames for me are a small pleasure to enjoy alone. Is my ME time. In a way, is like reading a book. I have to enjoy it alone. Possibly with only the game sounds. I've recently played at the last of us with a friend so she could give a look at the game and try it. I couldn't go around finding stuff, or try a stealth approach because she became bored easily and wanted to progress the game. And I lost some dialogues while talking to her. It was frustrating. If she wasn't such a dear friend to me, I would have or snapped at her, or offed the PS4. Plus, I don't have always a internet connection ready to play: so playng online is sometime simply not always possible for me.

My gf plays GTA online by herself on her own server and never interacts with a single soul. People have posted videos of themselves doing solo challenges in ME 3 MP all the time, just set up a private lobby, don't invite anyone, and knock yourself out. Back when I was playing TOR and Eve online I only played with at most two other people (one of whom was my father) and pretty much just kept to myself in High sec space and ran missions.

I personally think the whole reasons for going to Andromeda is debated over too often. It's a reset of the franchise, plain and simple. Any and all reasons given for going to Andromeda, save maybe the idea of fleeing Reapers, is silly in comparison to the costs and uncertainties faced in that galaxy (especially considering humanities incredibly brief period in this space community). Of course it is a plot device so they don't have to deal with any consequences from the trilogy. But they can at least make the whole endeavour look like it was a good idea. The anomaly in the Helius-cluster Minius mentioned might be a good reason for the trip, for example. I really hope they deliver some sensible explanation in the game, but doing it now would be too big a spoiler, so there is still hope for the plot.

The question I have is we know for sure that BioWare will show off one fairly substantial GP reveal before the game comes out, and it has been strongly intimated that they will also be talking about crafting and...other similar gameplay things. (I forget which), so will these be seperate videos or apart of the same very big video?

I really hope this doesn't become a trend for BioWare games in the future.

Not sure how successful it'll be but that's the tactic they've gone with for MEA. Personally I don't really mind when it happens so long as it does happen. We'll only know if it worked though when MEA finally does launch

I've stopped playng SWTOR because I couldn't even stand all the people running around and having to wait for the regeneration of stuff that someone had killed/taked before me. Plus the people who wanted to start conversation, or pretended to be thanked when they just wiped out enemies I had to kill. (No, I'm not going to thank you, you intrusive individual!!! I didn't need, nor asked for help!!!). Plus, multiplayer games are way too dispersive to have a decent solo play. I liked some moments in SWTOR, but I was always asked myself why didn't existed a single player version of the game, so I could play the story I liked, making different decisions, different saves to continue later with another path, and mostly without havingo to navigate and enormous, boring map that had me almost fall asleep while waiting to go from point A to point B. I liked the little bytes of story, but where just in between hours of boredom.

Could anyone with twitter ask the devs is we can know anything about the existence of high power semi auto NON SNIPER weapons like the n7 crusader or the M99 Saber?
Also inquire about the existence of a range where we can try the guns out like in ME3

Ian S. Frazier @tibermoonWe don't have the M-99 Saber (at launch, anyway), but we have something new that's very similar.
