Loosing Hudson again, albeit in a very different role nowdays sucks, since he certainly was an avid Mass Effect supporter within EA & Bioware.
Doubt these news have any influence over the Legendary Edition (with Mac Walters in charge).
For the new/next Mass Effect, Mike Gamble is in charge.
the people (who have been) involved with Mass Effect at Bioware become less and less, in that way I'm kind a glad some folks like Mike Gamble and Cristina Norman (voice talent lady in charge) etc. are still there.

Another team within BioWare has already begun pre-production on the next chapter in the Mass Effect universe. Rich, branching narratives, choices with consequences, and intriguing characters are central to the entire Dragon Age franchise, and we’re putting a lot of work into these. You’ll form relationships with companions who will fight by your side when you experience this true Dragon Age saga set in Thedas, a world in need of a new kind of hero. We’ve got a lot more in store for the Mass Effect universe and while we’ve got a long runway ahead of us before we’ll be ready to show you more, we hope the teaser set the tone for where we’re headed next. The teaser is full of hints about what we are planning, and we hope you have fun finding them all! In the meantime, the Mass Effect Legendary Edition is coming in Spring 2021, so we’ll see you all back in The Citadel very soon. Yeah, I think it's time for the mods to rename the original twitter thread (where folks post comments about the tweets) to "The Space Hamster Cage" or whatever floats Hrungr 's boat. Move it to the future ME subforum and create a new ME twitter thread there that is just for tweets … no forum member comments. Perhaps a note at the top of the new Twitter thread telling folks that tweets prior to XX date are located in the Space Hamster Cage … or whatever Hrungr decides to call this thread. This aligns ME twitter threads with DA and Anthem. It looks like BioWare is going to "get busy" on social media, so it's probably time to do this. |

So... where does this new design lead Michael Gamble @gamblemikeA most excellent question. - I'm guessing a trans-galactic relay linking Andromeda to the Milky Way. Built by the Jardaans maybe for the AI?
