This quote again. Such Nolan, so deep. Make a character repeat a new statement, that he didn't have originally, the entire final chapter and it becomes deep /s

So we have entered that phase already? Once the hate and overly heated reactions die down and people start to look back at the game with some distance, they suddenly find positive aspects. And the next game isn't even out yet to make MEA seem like the "good old times". That was quick, still a bit late for the ME franchise as a whole, though.

That usually occur after the game cycle ended, since Bioware cut the game support in half the time (compared to ME3 and DAI) it is no surprise this is happening already.

We're entering the infuriating but heartbreaking phase where we'll be flooded with thinkpieces from well-meaning journalists, critics and pundits realising that despite it's flaws, MEA was a perfectly decent game and asking what all the fuss was really about, making defences and arguments in favor of the game they probably should have made 4-5 months ago.
Still, if there's something we can count on to fill the void between now and Anthem, it's the weekly forum threads to the effect of 'I just picked up MEA & I'm 20 hours in - why all the hate?'
It'd be nice if Bioware would put some effort into their MP Story blog again, rather than the one sentence story we are now getting. The story blog at least provided some interest for me to read. Now they're just being lazy with it for the final parts.
That "causal conversation" shall be interesting...
People are actually nice when they meet developers and artists in person. It's (mostly) just the anonymity of the internet that brings out all the despicable behaviour.

That's mostly, but not alwaystrue. I've seen some pretty nasty stuff in Q&As before...
i read that initial polygon review when MEA launched. the reviewer clearly sped through the game and didn't bother to read datapads/talk to side npcs/etc and then complained the story didn't have any depth. and now six months later they want to claim the game was unfairly judged? wow
