Speaking of the books wonder when the third one is supposed to be revealed.

All 3 books have already been revealed.

Mass Effect Initiation is coming out on November 28th (there's also already technically two cover arts of the novel). The blurb is as follows...

"The official prequel to the hit video game Mass Effect: Andromeda. Lieutenant Cora Harper joins the Andromeda Initiative, a mission to send a fleet of colonization arks to the Andromeda Galaxy, each carrying a different council race. When key data is stolen by unknown parties, Alec Ryder personally recruits Harper to retrieve it before it can be used against the Initiative. If she fails, the Andromeda mission may be crippled before it begins. Harper is a human who has trained with the asari squad known as Talein's Daughters, under the direction of Nisira T'Kosh herself. Yet her training may not be enough when she discovers that she can trust no one-perhaps not even Ryder himself"

Mass Effect Annihilation arrives in US, Canadian, and UK stores on June 26, 2018 (August 28, 2018 in Australia). A small summary is also already revealed...

"This official tie-in novel chronicles the journey of the Keelah Si’yah as it carries 20,000 drell, elcor, batarian, and quarian colonists to Andromeda.

A pathogen is discovered aboard the ark after many drell are found dead in their cryo pods. As the pathogen jumps species, the ship’s systems begin to fail, making it clear this is no accident."

I sympathize, but they can't reveal what they may not know themselves yet.

I doubt a firm decision about future Mass Effect games has been made yet. And even if it's "No more" currently, they'd be silly to set it in stone by coming out and saying so, since they might change their minds in another year or two.

My suggestion would not be to get your hopes up too high. I think at most they'll have some sales on their merchandise, an MP Challenge and perhaps a thank you note. Maybe even a new comic announced. I really can't see more than that.

Agreed. Even though I hope that we will hear first news about the next Mass Effect game being in production in two years. Would still likely mean that the next one won't be released before 2021 to 2024 depending on how much time the next development cycle gets.

That's what I expect as well...
