who else noticed this?
I knew they was going to make abilities largely inspired by ME3MP, but they well exceeded my expectations.
Ryder looked to be Snap Incinerating or Snap Freezing some enemies in one of the loyalty missions. IIRC a stream of fire was eating assholes alive.

Yep, even the animation looks very similar. You can also see Ryder slamming a Hammer just like a Krogan.

Yep, even the animation looks very similar. You can also see Ryder slamming a Hammer just like a Krogan. That does it. My group will be called The Saviors. A Krogan sidekick breaking foes with a hammer. This game will be NEGAN max. |

Yep, even the animation looks very similar. You can also see Ryder slamming a Hammer just like a Krogan. Yup! We've known the sword and hammer were in since the GI article, but it's nice to see them in action.  Best still I could get. And the sword:  Seems to reuse ME3's animations, but they were cool so I don't mind. Sara also used the sword in the longer gameplay segment against the mechs. And yeah, Flamer and some deployable cover:  The new weapons look interesting, too. This one looks like a Collector weapon, and is indeed a beam weapon. Love beam weapons  |

Was very happy about it yeah. I only saw 2 of the weapons, sword and a hammer though. There's a 3rd, not sure what it is. If you want a bit of amusement to check out IGN's recent article. They call the sword a 'Baton' and the hammer 'and upgraded baton'. Had a chuckle at that one. They point out some nifty stuff, and then just fail a lot as usual.  As to the melee again - VERY happy it's not taking up a weapon slot. I was hoping it was like it's own slot that just upgrades the melee button like ME3. Super happy to see thats the case. |

I got the impression you can equip different melee weapons in SP. In MP it probably will depend on classes, and I assume jetpack will depend on classes too in MP. Would be hilarious to see a krogan in jetpack LOL.

You seriously made my day with that sword screen capture. My favorite ME3MP class to play by far was the N7 Slayer. I've always wanted to be able to play that class in single player! |
