Soon I'll be building a new computer and I'm going to give the whole trilogy one last run on it but I don't want to start from scratch without at least having the bonuses you get from achievements. How do I move my achievements to the new computer?

The easiest is to copy the whole "C:\Users\User\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Save" folder.
Achievements should be located in the "Profile.MassEffectProfile" file in there.

The easiest is to copy the whole " C:\Users\User\Documents\BioWare\Mass Effect\Save" folder. Achievements should be located in the " Profile.MassEffectProfile" file in there. Awesome, thank you. |

You may want to launch the game and load a character already done just to make sure the achievements activate. Sometimes at least in my custom setup when installing a new OS (which I do every few months -7TB data don't have much choice). I don't always see the achievements unless I run a previous game first. Otherwise my profile file gets overwritten by a said newly created character but alas I am stuck using Windows 10 maybe if you are using Win 7 or earlier you may have better luck. Just a word of caution. |
