Your ME3MP Darwin Award

I give a "Darwin Award" to Dalakaar, for starting this topic! Congratulations!!

This doesnt have to do with MEMP. But ya know how they say never go grocery shopping on an empty stomach? Well not only did I not have anything to eat but I also smoked some stuff. I spent over $150 on food.


What were we talking about?

Darwin awards were awarded to people that they deemed to be too stupid to live.  They used to make up stories.  Like one Indian guy who left the front seat of his rented van as it was speeding down the highway because somebody told him that the cruise controls drives for you. 

It never actually happened.

Every Geth game I should get a Darwin award multiple times. I know that Leeroying a couple of Pyro's, a Hunter, a Prime, 2 Rocket Troopers and a Bomber will result in spectacular staggerfest and death, but I do it anyway.

Oh god, so many...

I think my absolutely worst one was accidentally choosing the wrong Vorcha (chose Engineer, was supposed to choose Sentinel) for a gold run - I had completely wrong and useless gear because I hadn't played the VE at all before (except some general try-out runs on bronze/silver where I realised that class was just not for me).

I was so bad and generally useless that I quit to MP menu immediately after the game finished to facepalm and think about my life and my choices.

It was a joke circulating Usenet (and later Internet) decades ago. Supposedly these "Darwin Awards" were granted to people who improved the human gene pool by removing themselves from it through their own stupidity (or sometimes just making themselves incapable of reproduction). Of course there was no actual award or organization granting them, but users shared these lists of cases (mostly urban legends) where people got themselves killed in creative ways.

I did something quite similar once: Biotic Charged a Centurion to Falcon-Punch his face and ended up on the sword of a Phantom standing right next to that guy. The human gene pool really did improve that day, as the mission failed with that action  

I do get Darwin Awards literally all the time, often being too reckless or too slow in reacting...

Long time ago i decided to go UUG with two friends, all having silver weapons. We nearly failed...

My Darwin award is getting outscored by fluffycannibal.......
