Mass Effect Andromeda books & comics (Nexus Uprising 'soon')

Heh. Then again, if they answered all our questions, we'd have nothing to speculate on. Where's the fun in that?! Though, seriously, i do hope it makes a good stab at answering the basic questions at least. If it does this, i'll consider it a complete success… unless they had some random fan write it, and they couldn't write themselves out of a cyro pod.

I'm starting to think that the release dates for both the game and the book will be announced on N7 Day. They would want the book release to coordinate with the game, and since it's a prequel I would think it'd come out just a couple months before the game. So that everyone who reads it should be finished just in time for the game.

Luckily, I am not expecting anything from the first ME:A book after just 5 minutes of googling N.K. Jemisin, so I don't care when it comes. Mac should've done the first book, not the last, and I'm not a fan of the guy.

Titan Books follows a process and can be slow as molasses. On occasion they do push and move mountains to get a novel published
on or near the original schedule, if the author and series are well known. I doubt, however, that Jemisin or the Mass
Effect book is in that category, including sufficient demand for it.

I'd be surprised if the book is published in 2016.

The book only exists on the German Amazon site. You can't see it anywhere else.

Bioware really should not be meddling in the story at this point. The later in the game development the story is changed the worse the game is. This is the only book due in november that has no blurb.

As I said in the Twitter thread, more likely to be Book 3 of Broken Earth. She said in her last blog post on August 22 "Book 3 Proceeds".

I did notice something on her Patreon that might be related to Initiation:"Writing income is inherently unstable. [...] This is why I've a) kept the day job, and accepted contracts to cover my novel writing. The contracts have meant more predictable money -- an advance fee on signing, another on delivery/acceptance, another on publication."

New Mass Effect, Dragon Age Comics to Be Released in 2017 bit.ly/2dE20OP

Dark Horse will debut new comics in the worlds of both Mass Effect and Dragon Age, as well as several other projects related to the BioWare franchises, the publisher revealed today.

Ahead of New York Comic-Con 2016, Dark Horse has announced the comic book series Mass Effect: Discovery, the first issue of which will be available in spring 2017. Discovery's story is by Mass Effect Andromeda creative director Mac Walers, lead writer John Dombrow, and Jeremy Barlow, a writer on the Mass Effect: Foundation comic series/ Barlow will write Discovery while Gabriel Guzmán is on board as artist for the series.

Dark Horse will also release Dragon Age: Knight Errant in 2017. with the first issue going on sale on May 10 of next year. Nunzio DeFilippis and Christina Weir will write Knight Errant, which will have art by Fernando Heinz Furukawa and covers by Sachin Teng Dragon Age Adult Coloring Book will go on sale February 8, 2017.

Mass Effect: Discovery is part of what Dark Horse is billing as the Mass Effect Andromeda Program, which, in addition to the Andromeda Galaxy-set Discovery, will also include the Mass Effect Adult Coloring Book, The Art of Mass Effect Andromeda, and Mass Effect Andromeda — The Poster Collection. The coloring book will be available on March 1, 2017, the Andromeda art book will be released on March 21, 2017, and the poster collection will be available for purchase in fall 2017.

A Dragon Age Adult Coloring Book will also be released by Dark Horse on February 8, 2017.

I might get the Art of Mass Effect but I'll pass on the rest. The game+DLCs+novels are where I'm going to spend my money. I'm not really into comics and coloring book anymore but it's cool for those that like them.
