Drack and Liam get Omni-Shields. The melee strike from an Omni-Shield is similar to the motion of a Krogan's melee. Krogan bitch slapping foes with a Fire Shield and detonates Fire Explosion with a shot from his incendiary ammo laced shotgun. Beautiful. Liam is a cop. He needs his riot shield. Unlike Drack, Liam has a Cryo Shield. His duty as a police officer is to keep the peace and maintain order. Drack is Krogan. His job is to f crap up. We'll give him the offense oriented Flame Shield. Shadow Strike for our Synthetic buddy. |

Shields are fine. I would not mind some of them having a cool summoned device/droid. I still miss Bao-dur's Remote.

As much as I love vanguard charge, I do not want my squaddies to have it. I'm not sure they can be trusted with its power, after watching Liara try to support a vanguard.
Though I'm conflicted, because arena with vanguard Shep, Wrex and Grunt is good clean fun. In a cackling explosion sort of way.
