You can tell her you'll kill Flemeth but when you get to her hut you can let her go into hiding and tell Morrigan you killed her ...if you're a horrible person.

You can't trust Flemmeth just like you can't trust Captain Janeway.

We love her. We hate her. Or both, at the same time. She wants to preserve the magic of old times. She likes burning people - with her words and fireballs. She doesn't give a single f*ck when you criticize her. And she most certainly deserve a cup with "World's best mom" insrciption. Apparently, she's the only character in Thedas who can actually give birth. All other women seems to be barren. It's alarming, especially among Ferelden and Orleasian royal families. Let's discuss! What's your opinion on Morrigan? What do you think about her goals? Do you like her romance? And the most important question - which mage has the best outfit? Morrigan, Vivienne, Anders or Dorian? She's the most dynamic character of the game and is a woman who refuses to be controlled by anyone. She's smart, clever, sexy, gorgeous, outspoken and knows exactly what she wants and how to get it. It's not a matter of whether you can trust her, it's about how much can she offer you because your mission is to gather an army against the blight. Morrigan's robe is a nightmare. It looks like something Flemeth threw together and probably was. After all Morrigan grew up in and rarely ventured outside The Wilds which is probably why you can max her approval rating so easily with gifts. I don't know who Vivienne and Dorian are, so can't pass judgement on they're attire but Anders robe is decent. On the romance side she's good for a few tosses but she gives her heart to no one so DON'T FALL IN LOVE with her. LOL

No, she only leaves if you refuse the DR. She leaves if you don't help her and appears at the end to offer you the DR. Give up. I've already refused it once and she didn't leave.

Here is the situation: I've already done three main quests (mages, elves and dwarves) and I still haven't given Morrigan the grimoire or had the sex scene. My intention is to initially refuse her request to kill Flemeth because it seems a little extreme. Also, I don't want my Warden to be the easily manipulated sort. He should clash with Morrigan on a few issues at least. But... I'm afraid of falling into some negative stereotype. If my Warden refuses to kill Flemeth for her, then some time later they have sex and he finally decides to do it, will it look like he changed his mind because of that? Then again, the trope usually is that men stop caring after sex, so I'm not sure. I had one playthrough where I didn't sleep with her until the DR. Her come-ons were too heavy-handed and unsubtle for my dwarf! They clashed on several issues... the Anvil, the Circle, etc., but they also bonded over being pragmatic and having abusive mothers, so it was aight. He refused to sleep with her until the DR because even though he was very much in love, he wanted to do right by her and didn't feel he was "up to par" for most of the game, having been told his whole life that he was worthless. And he was too forthright for her weird, obnoxious seduction techniques (honestly, wtf Morri). But then the ritual was the last chance he had to be with her before she was gone forever, so... (Also her increasing sexual frustration amuses me.)

That does show that there is a variety of ways of roleplaying a casteless dwarf.
Some are defiant and manage to be indifferent to what others think. But that isn't always easy to do and when you are surrounded by several people that call you trash, you start believing it.

Alright, NITPICKING TIME! So, my Warden was carefully made with the intention that he would look like Kieran. Brown hair (though it looks reddish under that lighting), brown eyes and full lips. But I just had the dreadful realization that... the kid's got thicker eyebrows than his dad. How can it still make sense, then? Maybe one could say he takes after his mother, but I'm not sure if that works:

Morrigan is my DA:O Beau. I've tried every romance and hers is just the most compelling. Her evolution as a character is more impressive than the rest and you (or I at least) can see the ice around her heart melt as she slowly falls for you. She becomes confused and terrified by emotions she has never had before.
Leliana is in love with the idea of being in love. I make Alistair king of Ferelden to keep Anora in check. Zev will bang anything with a pulse... or not. I get the feeling he would hump anything as attractive as a mail box. Morrigan though, despite her leaving after the Arch Demon dies, her feelings for the Warden run deep. I do love how she develops in DA:I too if you go with her after Witch Hunt.
And those golden eyes... mmmmm... That's my Witch.

Morrigan is extremely interesting and is therefore my favorite character, whether I play someone that trusts her or not.

I didn't successed to pass through the eluvian with Morrigan but I think it comes from my romance with Leliana. I roleplayed an official relationship with Leliana and having Morrigan as mistress + ritual, then I fail in the end of "witch hunt" and I think it's normal. I imagine I have to begin a new a party to romance only Morrigan to gain her favours, I don't think it's just a question of bad answering. I imagine if my warden succeded as I said above, he would have obtained the royal title of "The cheater of Thedas"... But I found interesting to Play a warden who was attracted by her despite himself, even if he wanted to be with Leliana. It endorses the strong personality of the intriguing Morrigan, she's an attractive woman not only for her beauty. It's very much to her credit. Even sometimes she annoyed myself, it was finally funny, (I don't know why I'm thinking about the Slap Morrigan mod) It was a joy to have her each time it was possible, she good in fighting, and I love her cutting remarks especially against Alistair. She's a great character, and I can't do without her.

I've realized that Morrigan does feel some remorse for deceiving the Warden and planning to use him for her own ends.
After killing Flemeth, you can get this dialogue:
"Warden: I will always protect you, Morrigan.
Morrigan: I... you should not be so... you have no idea what will happen in the days to come, to make such promises.
Let us go. There is much to be done before... there is still much to be done".
This demonstration of love caught her off guard and made her feel bad about all that deception.

Morrigan is most definitely my favorite character in the DA universe. We all need to remember that she would be nothing without Claudia Black voicing her, though. That is where Morrigan really comes to life. I just started another Origins playthrough and I am planning to have my casteless dwarf go for the Morrigan romance and stay faithful. Done it before and it is always pretty good.

I can't say I ever really hated Morrigan; she's too well-written and charming for that. But you do learn that she has a single-minded agenda and that there are limits to any friendship or romance. Give her what she wants and everything is fine. She couldn't care less about anyone else. Aside from the PC, is she remotely friendly with any of the other companions?

was anyone else bothered with the way Morrigan behaved in the temple of mythal? I was. It felt forced in my opinion especially if Morrigan has a family. Because we all know Kieran would be better if something happened to Morrigan and he would be better alone in Skyhold, where he knows nobody, with his father at the other side of the country finding the cure for the Calling if he finds one at all otherwise he will die in 10 years more or less. Who would take care of him? Yavanna? Flemeth? But yes, Morrigan your son would be fine without you. I'm sorry for this. It really bothers me. xD

It was going so well for character until this moment in the Temple. I think it was really OOC the way she acted, because the game all the while made a point to show that her character had developed. She's not the same Morrigan from DAO. And you could think, oh she was doing it to get power so she could protect Kieran from Flemeth. But it wasn't even that, she wanted power, plain and simple. Selfish just like Morrigan from DAO. If they wanted Morrigan to drink from the well they could have used her motivation as a goal to protect her son. Before that it was like "I love my son and my warden, love my family yay" and then "fuck this I'm gonna drink from the well, my 10 year old son will take care of himself". Wtf. It was badly written.

And even if Morrigan doesn't have a son, Morrigan from DAO likes her freedom more than power but she jumps at the WoS knowing she would be bound to the will of Mythal forever. Even Abelas warns you about it! I highly doubt Morrigan would give up her freedom just for that. I hate when they force the plot on a character when it doesn't make sense.
