I hope this Topic doesn´t already exists.
Talking about the armour of our sqadmates. I saw in another Topic here (customizing weapons) that it is possible to create armour combinations for your character, but, what is with your squatmates? Do they run "half naked" in dangerous Environment, again? Or can we customize their armor, too?

Judging from stills and videos I've seen, the space catsuit ain't coming back.

It might work like DAI, where you could equip armor on companions but it looked differently on them, matching their "personal look".
Although, we can't see any << >> to switch character in the inventory shot we have in the gameplay trailer.

In my completely unfounded opinion, I think we'll be able to add bits to our allies (helmet, torso, hands, and feet), but they'll probably match their style like in DA:I.

I'm pretty sure they'll let us craft armor for squad members. Would be bad if you can craft or find powerful armor for yourself and take on high powered enemies while your squadmates are left with low tier default gear the whole game.

It could always work like DA2 with companions in unique scaling armor...but I don't think they will go in that direction.

If I make my Ryder overpowered I expect my squadmates to be on the same level and if Bioware gives me full control over that I've got no problem there either. Min-maxing or undermining the difficulty levels in DAI might not have been popular but I really enjoyed tweaking my gear to strongest it could be and making a joke of most of the enemies I ran into. I want the same for Andromeda.

I assume that we at least can do something to our team mates. If you look at the top of this picture, you see weapon, armor, ammo(?), what I think is the squad and the Nomad Give Shinrai a round of applause for the image.

Good eyes, there is 2 other silhouette outlines behind the grey/white one on that icon.

"Hey Liam, I build a new armor for myself so I'm giving you the one I use to wear until now, my deep space armor." Liam tries it on, looks like zipped jacket with pants!

Do they run "half naked" in dangerous Environment, again? Or can we customize their armor, too? I hope we are able to stop this, either by giving them a different set or being able to upgrade their armor. I want my squad to actually fit the lore and be in fully-sealed suits. I hope the NPCs all fit that as well.

I liked that in DA:I, your companions had their own personal style no matter whatever armour you equipped on them. In fact it's one of the only things I would be okay with being inspired from DA:I. Hope they bring that to ME:A.

Hope they bring that to ME:A. I wasn't a fan of that. It cut down on the total number of armors available for the protagonist and was extremely limiting if you didn't like them or wanted everyone in your group to wear matching armors.

I'm just saying that the system you are referring to came with far too many costs in my opinion and I do not want Bioware to replicate that in future games. I'd prefer if their off-duty attire was what was used to help flesh out their personality if they have to use outfits to do that.

I hope like me3 there's variations of squad mate appearances which account for those who prefer aesthetics and those who want them completely armoured up.

First guess was, Squadmates should finally wear an full Environment suit in Situation when the Player does.
Second guess is, that I hope, that you can upgrade the armour of your squadmates in any way. If you can change their armour or only upgrade their armour doesn´t matter for me. The Point is, you can give them better equippment..
The skills of the Player isn´t class binded, what is with the squadmates? If they have classes and you can Change their armour, it wouldn´t make sense to give them armour with abilities they don´t use, so they wouldn´t wear them. And that would reduce the work for Bioware, because they don´´t have to create Skins for every armour for every squadmate, only the ones they could wear.

I really hope we can outfit them with armor if for no other reason than I want at least one run of everyone in the ugliest armor I can find while we kick some ass. Though looking at how the original ME trilogy kind of removed this from the games after the first one I fear that we won't get to and maybe at the most get to switch skins with some power differences like ME3.
