Angry thread about the MEA theme

I really hope you are joking. It's probably not up to Bioware, it's up to the concert group. I'm guessing they might come out with a CD or download of the performance you can purchase...

It was a live concert and he even apologised (And he didn't even needed to do that). What else do you need?

Of all the things to complain about you have a moan about not being able to hear the soundtrack before playing the game. If you really wanted to listen to it you should have gone to the performance.


SofaJockey the title is still misleading. Thought the OP would be complaining about the music or themetic setting. Not that they can't get a cd of a live performance. 

So, someone is complaining because he cannot buy a piece of music that is still unreleased??? 

While not the exact phrase I would've used, I too rolled my eyes the first time Leaving Earth played in ME3 and that was the first time my eyes had rolled because of this series at the time. The "EMOTIONAL PIANO" crap just didn't need to be in Mass Effect. They should've gone with the usual orchestrated mix of synthy elements and made that more somber instead and kept it consistent instead of making a wannabe summer Transformers/Marvel blockbuster.

As for this though? Big deal. lol. We'll get to hear the theme in the game, isn't that enough? Trevor Morris also did some in-house composing for DA:I which they were proud of and heard it played live in the studio. Nothing wrong with having local gigs like that.

I'm however disappointed to hear Sam Hulick is not even associated at all with this game. First Paragon/Renegade, then the move to open-world and now this. It's not exactly something that evokes "Mass Effect" to me, but I'll live with it.
