Mass Effect Galactic Codex: Essentials

So the collector's edition of the very first Mass Effect, released all the way back in 2007, had this little booklet called the 'Galactic Codex: Essentials – Edition 2183'. It Mostly contained information from the in-game codex but also quite some substantial content on the Alien Races, the Alliance, various cooperations and diagrams that where never published anywhere else. most people  probably. don't even no that the thing exists, but i'm really interest in that information on the Mass Effect Universe that was never seen anywhere else, especiall since it predates the Mac Walters takeover of the Writing department.
