Yeah, I think I that was my 4th or 5th pug in a row that I was hosting, and was definitely the fastest and smoothest to extraction. I'm pretty sure that was you and your architect's doing, killing all the beasties right quick. Good game.

Your host was fine. I only got caught out because I was out in the open. For a sec there, I thought we'd actually get Icebreaker/Kett, after you'd gone through the pains to set it all to random.

I launched into my first Gold game using my lone Rank III Experience booster, so disaster was possible. Sure enough, we lost a player almost right away. But then... my Hero™* joined to make sure the game went right.
Until I dragged everyone into a failed extraction at the last minute.
In my defense, I've played about 15-20 games of MP. Also, given how scrubby I am, it's a real testament to the awesomeness of the Barrier's Rank 6 Priming evo. I had taken it just before playing the game, and seeing it in action for the first time ever in Gold convinces me it rocks.
*This is a big hint, honestly. I'm still not going to tell you, though. If you can't figure it out, you'll have to watch the video. Just click ahead a few minutes if you want to see who joined you impatient bastich!

Met Leland Gaunt in a lobby. Turned out it was a GIP after I hit ready, so I left.
Later I ran into peddroelm in a sandstorm/remnant match with lot's of tech and fire explosions. And a lot of slowdowns, once enemies came near in combination with effect animations, resulting in both fps drops and mouselag. GG though

Yeah the name didn't ring a bell from here, but Biotichazard was fun to play with. If only there had been an Apex match with bonus credits last night; that would have been icing on the cake. Hope my hosting was good (enough).
BTW, you were witnessing me finally noticing the Ascension mechanic. I'd completely missed the 'hold melee to activate' directive in the description. In my first 5 matches I'd just been waiting for it to automatically start working. Heh. Turns out it's pretty cool in practice.
The increased damage from raiders is tangible. More than once, they stripped my barriers as I leaped across roofs with their perfect aim and instant targeting.

I don't remember seeing a single score above ~20K last night.

No I noticed the same. Kazu was wondering how he was topscoring every game just by slacking alone. And I worked hard with GI Jane to get only 17K points...

No I noticed the same. Kazu was wondering how he was topscoring every game just by slacking alone. And I worked hard with GI Jane to get only 17K points...
Can confirm, I was pretty much screwing around with the Predator Pistol and somehow ended up with something like 21k after the score for the medals have been substracted. Then the next match I wound up with 17k after medals where substracted and I didnt do much different.
