Those Random BSNers That You Happen to Bump Into: MEA Edition

Just ran into rlro for Apex G mission. Just a couple Krogans with shotguns .... well you know the story. GG.

That sums up my last game. I just can't be arsed anymore, and it surprises me that you've stuck it out longer than me. The reason I say that is because I remember how much you hated Snap Cheese and Cryo Explosions in ME3, and to me, just about everything in MEA reminds me of Cryo Explosions - all the guns have a slightly metallic, brittle sound, and the powers and combos too - they all sound unpleasant to my ears. I simply wasn't having enough fun, even when everything was working correctly, to justify putting up with all the crap when it wasn't.

That said, I had a freeze 10 seconds from extraction yesterday when playing ME3 on XB1, so I'm not deluding myself that these things don't still happen in the old game too. But I do have more fun the rest of the time, even if I occasionally have to drop down to Silver to find other players these days.

Not sure if I have ever ran into anybody in-game but other than a couple of regular posters, I probably wouldnt recognize them if I did.

Doing some morning runs after first coffee: still early, start easy. Started the APEX Bronze mission solo with an overpowered L14 Kineticist and in steps ScumbagShepurd with Ponytail in Wave 2, I believe. Sound dropped in Wave 4. Still nice game imho...

There are just two things I'd still like to know, Scumbag: 1) Did you experience any lag? and 2) Were you going for my neck there?

Should've known that the ponytail was the issue...

The screenshot is pure luck, btw... or bad luck for that matter since I was trying to get your tag in the shot, together with some nice splosions. Still, the extreme close up was a nice surprise.

Just one thing, though: did the sound drop for you as well (never quite known if this happens for everyone in the match)?

If anyone who posts here is on Xbox (Gamer Tag is the same as my forum name, and just about anywhere else I go, chances are if you see MrFuddyDuddy anywhere there is a 99% chance its me) I might have seen you once maybe... I have no idea in knowing because I usually don't ever bother looking at someones name.

  The only shotgun whose challenge I haven't completed is the Reegar. Who's better to wield it than a Kroguard? 

  Actually this was my first match using him after a long time. He is very good now, after Rage was buffed. GG

Sure thing, though I'm not sure I qualify as a regular player lately.  0-3 games a day is my average lately.


I did run into El_Kittens a few days back.  There's always a bit of lag for me in your games, so it's usually just a one off when I do drop in.  But nice work with the Merc.  1st game in a month with the salarian cloaka for me, and first game with the Shadow since the last few patches.

Had Scathane join me and Kazu this evening with the Duelist.
