Yes it was.  I'm glad they brought this mission back after a long hiatus … and made it a gold match (previously, this was a silver match on Magma). 

Back then, I used the bonus XP to level up my characters … combined with a level IV XP booster, it made leveling up go pretty darn fast.  The credit boost was also nice. 

But for all of that, it's just fun … which is kinda the point.

Thank you regack . I don't know if that was Pointman's issue, but it might give him some clues as to where (else) to look. He's tried reloading the game, repairing the game, all sorts of things and no luck.

For me, I have most 3rd party applications turned off. They may have fixed it, but my Razer software used to create issues for ME. Origin-In-Game used to cause issues (WTF EA … ME is YOUR game and YOUR interface causes issues?!?!?!?!). There are others. I'm sure he's tried a few, but this might hint at some additional ones to disable or put into a compatibility mode.

On another note, log this under stupid me … I disabled "angle snapping" on my Logitech software, sniping (and shooting in general) while playing off-host (my default since I'm a crappy host) is now like sniping on-host. I think it was on by default and since I really didn't know what it did, just left it that way. Then, read up on what it does and how it can negatively impact gaming … turned it off … profit!

Again, thanks.  If it gets Pointman back to playing, he will be eternally in your debt (at least until Anthem comes out).

Edit add: I passed this on to Pointman … we'll see if it spurs any areas of inquiry to address, WRT third party software.
