I celebrated christmas by naming my VMS "Santa Claus" and he was giving everyone coal and rides the m-44 hammerhead instead of a sled.

And attempted to make a colour scheme for my volus in a santa claus colours.

Been easing off the booze/weed the last couple weeks. Went full tilt tonight though, all it accomplished was putting me to sleep for a couple hours. /sigh *insert oooold man gif*

Haven't had any for a while, doesn't take long either. Couple days and the dreams go from 240p blurry around the edges to 1080p and full colour.

I can't remember my dreams any longer, I'd say it's because I don't dream but I know I do, I just don't remember them. I would like to however.

Are you spending Christmas Eve alone as well? It seems to me that a lot of bsners are, makes me feel not so weird or what you call it, about it. Never thought I'd be spending such days alone had you asked me 10 years ago but that's how life goes. I'm okay with it though, my dogs are with me, for some people that's silly that pets are enough for a person but to me they're better than people, more trustworthy and loyal.

Actually hate is too strong a word. I am just indifferent to their silly stupid machinations. They have no strings on me.

Christmas eve alone is sort of a tradition for me. Not one that hurts or bites, but a willful choice. One I actually rather like. No pets or anything, just me and smile.

I get good beer, good food, and find something good to watch or read. Last year I went all out and had crab legs and whatnot. This year it's a bit toned down from that but still yummy. Om noming some landjaeger (I effing love landjaeger) and as aforementioned White Bark beer from Driftwood Brewery. Two of my favourite things.

Got various fruits, yellow grape tomatoes, and spicy pickled asparagus for tomorrow. Along with a lovely dark beer just called Herman's.

Watching "Medici Masters of Florence". Which is probably a lot less exotic to you Europeans, but I've enjoyed the show so far.

I still remember the first Christmas I had alone. I thought I'd be suicidal, lacklustre, or just plain sad. Instead it was freeing, invigorating. Like the one day a year everyone's supposed to put up with their familial woes I spent free of such burdens. I wouldn't go back to the bickering, accusatory questioning, and woefully unimaginative thinly veiled insults for all the shekels in Rick and Morty.

I do envy you your dogs though. Not in a place where I could have dogs, and won't get them till I know I can care for them the way I demand people should. I miss pets, but right now my life is more nomadic than stationary.

I can relate to that.

I stay away from my family and just chill out. Got me a case of beer, ordered a pizza, and just relaxed and caught up on some movies I haven't watched yet. Was a good night.
