I changed Sigrun's look via a MOD but it has gone from the dirty hollow cheeked I did not like to too cutesy Dagna looking. Need to try and find something in between but will probably just live with the latter. You see, this is why you should be making your characters in the toolset, because you can also edit your NPC's as well. Almost off-topic, but this seems like a good place to ask. Today I loaded Origin, to continue my DAA playthrough I just started. When I did, I noticed a couple oddities. 1) I saw two entries in my library for DAI, one of them with a NEW badge on it. I didn't just buy anything recently... but now I have Digital Deluxe and GOTY in my library, and both show as installed. I have one installation on this PC, it is the GOTY. 2) Curious, I clicked on the two titles of DAI. Neither of them have proper graphics at the top of the game page. The DD version is simply blank, the GOTY version has a grey box with three dots in the middle, and when I click/right-click, nothing happens. So, I decided that maybe my Origin install got screwed up (they have been updating it quite a bit the last week or two) and so I cleared my cache by deleting a bunch of stuff, only keeping the one folder the EA instructions said to. This was fun... made me verify all of my ME3 dlc and redownload some of it, which probably means my modded ME3 install is toast and will need to be redone... cool. And, it did nothing to solve my little visual bug. So, anyone else experiencing this when going to launch Origin and/or DAI? Mine is fine, I have just the one DAI Icon (but it isn't installed) and it is the digital deluxe edition and all my achievements are there but I did play it recently (well probably just over a year ago). ME3 is not installed but looks fine and all the achievements are thereand all the DLC says it is owned and is ticked. I have not played it for quite a while as i have just recently been playing MELE.

Can I use it for DA2? I am too far through DAO and DLC to care enough but if I can only use if for DAO I will have a try with it when I do my female Noble Rogue run next. Not sure at this stage if I will do DAO straight up after this run with my human noble or play DA2 straight after this PT of DAO. No, you can't use it for DA2.

So I did the battle at the end and stayed to save the people of Amaranthine but Vigils Keep fell and everyone I left there died, this has never happened for me before.
Armour upgrades were done, keep upgrades (just the Granite yeah and Silverite Armour?) were done the only thing that I had not done was Oghren's mission with Felsi as it didn't trigger.
The issue appears to be Approval ratings and I am guessing all have to be high for the people you leave behind for the Keep to survive. I do not understand how Sigrun and Velanna are at 72% I gave them all their gifts and never got a dialogue choice wrong that I can remember. Anyway they came with me to Amaranthine and survived.
I will go back to the save before heading off to Amaranthine and if necessary am going to try and figure out how to cheat the Approval ratings.

Yes I did give him the 80 Sovereigns and promised him guards to get the Granite. He commented every time I tried to speak to him afterwards I pity the army that tries to take this fort or something like that and yes the gate is definitely there I'd have to double check about the towers. Checked the towers are there and the gate, maybe the game bugged out it looked like the Armoured Ogre bugged out maybe that caused it. I just wonder if there is something else I missed. I know I missed having to do the trial for Ser Hammersley I think his name is I believe because I got the fake Dark Wolf to get info. on the traitors and did that early on. Is there a bad dialogue choice you can make when deciding to defend Amaranthine? I didn't do the blight orphans quests I am assuming that does not matter.

I can't look at the files in the toolset because they are encrypted, and I can't find a reliable source for dedaodrm.exe As far as I know, there are only 4 requirements for the keep standing. The 80 sovereigns for the gate and towers. The "It comes from Beneath" quest to block off the tunnels from the basement. The granite for the walls. The silver-rite for the guards armour. You did all that so it should have stood. I usually send Oghren and Anders back with Alistair at the start, execute Howe, and send Vengeance on his way. So none of them have any approval, and there are no Grey Wardens to defend the keep, but it still stands. The court and trial only effect who fights in the conspiracy against you. Saving Alec the shepherd, means he goes on to become Ser Alec the Valiant, but that is after the defense of the keep. I never do the blight orphans either, but the epilogue still assumes you did. Is there a bad dialogue choice you can make when deciding to defend Amaranthine? I don't think so. Your dialogue choices only effect approval of the companions present, and letting the talking darkspawn live has an adverse effect. If you want to continue your story into DA2, just use the Gibbed Save Game Generator. www.nexusmods.com/dragonage2/mods/2251It's more reliable than Bioware's import process anyway.

Cheers I used the addapproval command I had to do it like this though: Select Oghren then: runscript zz_gxa_addapproval Oghren 40 to add forty approval to Oghren. With regards to Oghren it was weird his number for approval was "53" but the actuall graphic, the line of segments was much higher so it was like the number was stuck. Bumped up Velanna and Sighrun and got no extra dialogue but bumping up Oghren got me extra dialogue re Felsi and same for Justice got extra Dialogue about Aura.

Hey olnorton I used that save editor, it could be a bit more user friendly!!!! Also how do I tell it from other saves. Hey did I miss something, the one option it did not seem to give me was to say that my Cousland had married Anora. Again it said the Keep fell and Anders and Oghren died but then the post credits said the exact opposite!!!!

It will show as Generated_William and will tell you if you try to load it that it is a Gibbed save. i.imgur.com/a2M4nZJ.jpgIf it doesn't have an option to say that you married Anora, it's because it has no effect, and is not mentioned in future games, and would not be carried over from your regular saved game. Again it said the Keep fell and Anders and Oghren died but then the post credits said the exact opposite!!!! Yes I think I read somewhere that bug is caused if you get him the granite before finishing one of the other quests.

So yes the DAO .exe worked and I started GoA and have forgotten a lot of it but am remembering why I didn't particularly like it. Prior to that I started a 2nd DAO PT this time with a female Cousland who will also be a Rogue but will maybe use the bow instead of dual weapons. Using a new MOD Bidelles Cosmetics which also does Hair and Face stuff, tweaked one of their pre-sets with some input from my daughter. Swift Cousland Best shots I could get at the time GoA

Finished DAO and all the DLC, kissed Morrigan goodbye and on to DA0 PT 2 with a Female Cousland Rogue this time using a bow (for now at least) and only after inviting Iona back to Swift's room did I realise I had created an Iona twin. Goodbye Morrigan Iona Swift and Iona Can't decide all Black or Leliana's Sacred Ashes Gear? Will romance Leliana this PT so Leliana will have to wear soemthing else if I wear her SAA.

Swift Cousland escaped Arl Howe's treachery leaving her mother to defend her dying father and set off to Ostagar with Duncan the Grey Warden. She has decided she thinks Alistair is an idiot and doesn't mind reminding him and is wary of Morrigan the "Witch of The Wilds" likes her witty take downs of Alistair. After surviving Loghain's treachery and being rescued by Morrigan's mother Flemeth, Alistair and Morrigan and Swift headed to Lothering. Killed some bandits that tried to charge them a toll, Swift is intolerant of such nonsense and told Alistair there was no need to discuss options as she'd decide later. Pic's Want to play Swift as suffering from losing her parents and then also being pissed off at how things turned out at Ostagar and that may mean leaving Sten in his cage and being unhelpful to everyone in Lothering except for letting Leliana join.
