I died once in that apex too (not the same game as Legend, probably earlier), I was a totally scrub who got pwned by Berserker+Hydra running to the objective.

Ran into a certain Snowleopard in the desert, who did not melee back, my artificer has a sad now. Not much else to say about the match, except I played badly (I usually do, because I'm a scrub).

I understand lag all too well. MEAMP is a lot more connection intensive than any other game I've played (except maybe DAIMP). Lag has also been a bit worse than usual the past few days in general. I pay pretty close attention to my connection (Habit I picked up with ME3MP because I only played on-host there), and my usual solidly 3-bar host has been occasionally showing 2-bars lately (Ping/Jitter same as usual, down/up higher and beyond anything any game could ever use), even a few of my friends (also in EU like myself) who have reliable 4 bar hosts have been occasionally showing 2-bars lately (though with no noticable difference in-game). Whilst other "supposedly" 4-bar hosts can been constand shitstorms of lag (even without a full lobby or much going on). So, not entirely sure what's going on, maybe the pond is going through one of its laggy periods.

This is also true in ME3MP, with a bad enough connection, an off-host player can even cause the host to lag. I don't remember the player's name anymore (but I do know that they were Russian), that I warned my friends about on PS3, that ANY lobby with them in it will be insanely laggy, worst still, this player HOSTED on Silver and PUGged Gold/Plat.

As to region matchmaking, I'd actually say that MEAMP does favour locale very strongingly (often failing to find lobbies just because they aren't in your region), during US Evenings, which you would consider a peak gaming hour, it's often VERY hard for me to find a lobby at all, and if I do find one, it's usually some super low level, unequipped PUG hosting a Gold Apex or some shitty Apex modifier. The search system makes me alt+f4 more than anything.

Honestly, any connection below 25ms ping (in general, not specifically to the server/host) and jitter below 5ms SHOULD be more than sufficient for gaming. I used to have a nice connection with 13ms ping and <2ms jitter, but the down/up used to get REALLY bad (<1mbps) during peak hours, so I changed ISPs, current ISP has absurd down/up all day/night (helps the wife's work and streaming) and 20ms ping, 3-4ms jitter, and sometimes, the rubberbanding is insane in MEAMP even on 4bar hosts. And always present in varying degrees in ANY full lobby. I'm starting to suspect that MEAMP expects EVERYBODY (even off-host) to have <10ms pings and <2ms jitter.

Maybe you should record every game, and make a compilation of tanking hacks (And entire waves like that Aqua match we had the other day) on Platinum, because Stealth is not needed.

I have Shadowplay, but I'm a PC Noob (Console Peasant, PS3-Style!). I do not have very good results trying to record stuff.
