The Kett and the Cheese

So, too many months to go to the official release date for ME:A, and too few things already in the known…

What gives?

Well, in my case, it means too much time to speculate back and forth on the lore, the cultures and the people we will meet as Ryder in the upcoming game, hoping it will be as much compelling as it was in the original trilogy (which, IMO was nice and much: cubic ton of information who truly enriched our stories and whom I can’t do without).

BUT, back to the matter at hand: we know very little for now on the what and the how of the species of the Andromeda galaxy. To be more precise, the only species with a name are the Kett, which we will know we’ll be an integral part of the adventure.





For the little that we know, the Kett are described as having some sort of organic tech (a la Collector maybe?) and having bony carapace over their bodies, forming a superstructure similar to natural armour.
But, supposing they use calcium in their biology to form their bones, I’ve come to think the need a lot more than us humans.
And from this pointless reflection, the meme was born: what best way to make peace with the Kett, then to share a big slice of gorgonzola? If the Qunari can have their cookies, I hope in Andromeda we will see Kett discovering cheese and the pleasure connected to it.
“Make Mozzarella not War” could be a great way to begin diplomacy among the Milkywaians (bringer of the warrior drink) and the Andromedians, with the Kett calling “Nectar” any dairy product transformed in cheese.

I hope all of this made you smile a little (or a lot) and scratch the itchiness that is the hype.
