I'm sure we will get a Red ending for killing all Kett, and some other cuddly aliens aswell, but it will be the good ending because you now got the galaxy for yourself, all uncontested.
Then there will be the Blue where you enslave them all, and maybe a Greenone where you make everyone see things the same way and work together towards a common goal. In the Blue and green ending your character dies immediately and is dissolved into atomic paste and your sibling contracts an uncurable rapidly advancing cancer from the resulting shockwave that ensures a very painful death.

I think it was mentioned in a foreign interview somewhere (sorry I can't recall where so no reference) that the Kett had like several levels to their society like ranking? And from the names we've seen in gameplay for enemies they kinda seem to be religious in nature. I mean it's similar to the Qunari but I don't think it's gonna be anything of an issue. It'd be nice to see a race that has such a spiritual side to their race. It wasn't really addressed in the trilogy aside from the Hanar.

Don't take my post too wrong: I'm just saying we have a warrior species of giant muscular guys (female Kett?) with a "might makes right" (seemingly) approach. Also, their features do remind me of the Qunari: they lack the horns, but the strong chin, flat and wide forehead and the potential sexiness is there. I just hope they crack lurid jokes able to make even Aethyta blush as past time… you know, to break the stereotype: I would welcome a specie of boisterous bruisers. Also, in ME trilogy, we had Asari religions (Siari and the older cult of the Goddess Athame), Drell ancient beliefs (Amonkira, lord of hunters), tidbits of the religion of both the Elcor (idols for fertility ritual) and Krogan (Shamans and such) and the semireligious philosophy of the Turians (with their encompassing spirits). And the Geth of course, bowing to the Reapers. Let’s not forget the cult of the Ancestors of the Quarians, and the “Pillars of Strenght” of the Batarians. And Salarian too: the “Wheel of Life” from Mordin loyalty mission in Me2. I’m sure I forgot someone along the road, but we had religion, beliefs and creed in the ME trilogy.

Ah I suppose, it still didn't really feel like it was touched upon in anything but the codex. Thane himself giving a few tidbits about differing gods they worship isn't the same as seeing belief throughout numerous individuals. He just felt like a walking codex because it was literally just him. I'm not saying we didn't have any religion in the trilogy I just feel it wasn't represented in an in depth way. If I had a penny every time I heard an Asari say "By the Goddess!" or a Turian say "Spirits" I'd be rich but that's not really what I'm looking for. Mentioning it in passing isn't really experiencing that part of a culture. It was very background. I'm hoping that if the Kett do have a religious slant to them like has been hinted then I hope it's more than just someone going "GAAAH *insert god*" when I shoot them in the kneecaps.

If their god is anything similar to Xipe Totec, I would be an happy fan. I got no idea who that is but he looks pretty nifty. Xipe Totec, or "Our Lord the Flayed One" was a god of many pre-Columbian civilization of central America (I suppose the Zapotec civilization adds little context here, but it was worshipped by the Aztec too). Suffice to say, it was the deity of both the renewal of the earth (he flayed himself to feed humanity, as maize does after being planted), immortality, liberation, plague, east, springs and war and protector of both the goldsmiths and silversmiths. So a symbol of activity, of the cruel wheel of life too, grinding the seeds under its might: of violent beginnings. The archetype of concept “mors tua, vita mea” in the most primal sense. It was the bearer of the blood and the skin that must be spent to nourish the gods and in a more metaphorical way, the sacrifice needed to support a civilization. I collect strange knowledge as a hobby, but I’ve to say even I find Xipe Totec a very strange and peculiar deity: the cult dedicated to him was the stuff of nightmare (without a shred of doubt), but it was, in a very strange way, a violence without… well, apparently, malice. I don’t pretend to be an expert, but I think Xipe Totec is the only deity ever conceived by humanity, that summarizes so many paradoxical concepts in itself. But let’s back to Andromeda…

We'll just have to wait and see. Love how we got to this from cheese...

More or less: Qunari culture is focused heavily on efficiency and proper use of resources. Waste not, want not, applied even to people: in the Qun, everyone has a place and an assignment. Qun is not… big on self-responsibility I suppose (you surrender to the Qun and serve the Qun as a resource, a cog in the machine), and many things are imposed to the single to support the system and in the name of the system. Deviation from the norm is usually shunned and criticism on it is… I think the correct term would be “re-educated”. Or killed. Because of this, cookies, which are usually made with leftovers of butter, flour and so on, are utterly alien to the efficiency oriented Qunari. And Qunari among the bas (literally “things”, used to indicate people not yet enlightened by the Qun) and basalit-an ("things worthy of respect") find them delicious. As they should be, considering I doubt sugar too is widely used among the Qunari. Basically, cookies are the beginning of the sweet tooth for every Qunari, and something they don’t know how to properly process. They just discover they are good. Very good. Soooo Goood! It is usually played for laugh in DA universe.
