And it's done.I'm kinda disappointed, I should have been synced by an Atlas before finishing this; it's practically the only thing missing from the trollfest BS that is Cerberus. Now your title with suck, to bad for u starchild Nope, Starchild is for 5WS (Implanted), Shepard ad Portas! is for 10 WS (Indoctrinated).

Attempt one: Raider Valkyrie versus Cerberus on Firebase White, Platinum. Fail on wave eight, due to phantom sword to the gut, though I'm pretty sure the damn bitch didn't even melee before. Magneted to her. Lost two gels on freaking wave one, of course, due to phantoms, the next three during next six waves, lost my last one to the last pyro on wave seven, because I obviously don't know how to use RHA Missiled waves two and five, with two Atlases and two banshees respectively. Objectives were escort wave three, pizza delivery wave six, with two pizzas spawning very close. Mission time, 27:37. Lots of scrubbery was present, but me thinks halfway decent first attempt. Warp and incendiary glitch did all the heavy lifting and I'm not proud of it, but it's platinum, so I'm not gonna stress about it too much either. Probably my last attempt this week, but I'm certainly gonna retry it again and hope the RNG gods bestow their favour on me.

Well, against my better judgement, I decided I'm gonna try it as well. With my beloved Raider Valkyrie. But, since I doubted I can pull it off, I first give it a shot at Silver solo. Cerberus/White, as I plan to do it for Platinum. The results? 21:50, three gels by extraction and one ops pack. Granted, I was pretty aggressive, I plan to be much more conservative at Plat. Incendiary ammo I and Vulnerability Gear III. The first will be leveled up to level IV on Plat and I'll use rail amp III. If I get as decent objectives as I did at Silver(two escorts and hack)... I think I have a halfway decent chance of pulling it off. Will try it tonight and report how it went. My guess is, as usual, objectives are gonna be what makes it or breaks it. Yay~! Go! We are all rooting for you!

Wow. I just pulled off a thirty minute silver solo. I'm kind of a badass. Lol.
Seriously after being away from gaming so long, my hands just can't keep up with what my brain wants them to do.

Since soloing Plat is the new thing to do I gave it a try. And I got this: here No problem right? Didn't waste much time, just retry it! Well... (in case it's not clear - fission mailed) Just meh. I took Drell Infiltrator und spammed some Recon Mine. That worked.

Enemy movement in this game is quite linear. For example, hunters always hop to the right side when their shields are down, geth generally tends to hop to the right, dragoons always role in the same manner (which means after a couple of killed dragoons, I bet you claymore will be ready and waiting for them to finish their roll for an easy headshot). Anyways, the point being, you will get it really quickly and it does become integrated in muscle memory.

Just some little stuff is annoying like having the reticle right over the enemy then scoping in to have it pull to another area. The knowledge is mostly still there but the muscles just aren't quite where I need them to be. Damn you Real Life!!!!

I sort of maybe possibly disagree with that- I never go into a plat solo intending to use missiles on waves 1 or 2 (typically my missile strategy is one missile cleanup on each objective wave, two missiles on both waves 5 and 9, and one missile on both 4 and 8), but if a really perfect opportunity presents itself I definitely will nuke on those waves. You can go a whole game without many great nuke opportunities, so I tend to think the whole bird-in-hand thing is a pretty reasonable approach here.

Missile on wave 2?!WTF man? .Save it for 5 8 9 waves. It absolutely doesn't worth, because wave two is the fasest and the easiest wave. It was kinda cathartic to blow two Atlases and a goon with a missile Plus, I admit I was a little under the influence of guys like you and gals like Techno, who sometimes missile wave two in their speedruns. That was before I remembered that I'm not aiming for speedrun, but it was still fun No panic was present, no siree! Nice getting to W8 on your first attempt! And speedily, too! I know you can do it! Thanks, I was quite surprised at the time myself But lets be fair, I used one of the highest DPS builds possible and I had pretty much god like objectives. I know from my gold and silver solos that, as soon as I get devices, I'm pretty much toast. I know the principle of kiting, but I can't seem to pull a decent kiting for the life of me. Plus, I watched Techno solo Cerberus/White so many times, it feels like she did half the work But I had fun and despite all the derpiness(let me tell you, those two gels on wave one almost made me rage quit), I will try it again. I just hope I don't run out of shotgun amps before I manage to do it.

You can use missile on wave 2 or 1,but when you persecuting speedrun and when you use projectile weapons which suck vs the bosses like venom. His weapon is raider, which eats the bosses and all armored units for breakfast.

Not to mention that using missiles on a dragoon wave is far from cost-efficient. Due to the wave budget vs. threat level ratio, goon/abomination waves are the easiest (and fastest) in the whole game.

I started my journey with drell solos, PPR Dreldept and 2 nice fails on white uknown, one vs reapa, one vs collectors. Dont remember how long the PPR needs to charge up, but FoV bug sucks. I ll have to pick another weapon.

Do most of you turn the in game music off? I'm super dependent on using my ears during the match to figure out where phantoms and husks are and wondered if others felt the same.
