I meant NA as in North America (Including Canada, I know it's not great, but trust me you are WAY better than I am) an EU as in Europe (some Europe at least...).

For me it's double price and then you of course have to do the conversion. Now that's when the real fun begins: my conversion as today is 1:15 it means that those 800 US dollars (doubling the original 400) I have to multiply by 15 and then I get the actual price in my local currency.

Here we have a total new definition of what "inflation" means.

My fairly new Geforce 1080 will most likely be good enough by release. If it isn't, then the game itself is sure to have optimisation issues.

I'm surprised at how much requirements have jumped. I can't remember what game I was looking at, but the min requirement for it was a GTX 770 & 8GB of RAM, recommended was GTX 980 plus 16 GB of RAM!

Having just upgraded from a 770 to a 980Ti, that surprised me.

Also, Dragon Age Iquisition (which takes advantage of the same engine that Andromeda uses) does not have a great pc port.

What caught my attention on the masseffect.com/news post re: the PS4 Pro is the available download of four 4K pix screenshots from the PS4 Pro version.

If I got it wrong about the PS4 Pro , my apology. I don't want to post wrong information.

Edit: This article here seems to indicate that the PS4 Pro will display on 4K: "EA followed, confirming FIFA 17, Battlefield 1, and Mass Effect: Andromeda will support PS4 Pro. All I'm saying is that I found the article interesting.

All I care about is the quality of the PC version of ME:A.

Those are solid framerates, but it is important to mention that they are on "High" settings. This game has a "Very High" as well as an "Ultra" preset, and most people buying $250-300 cards are usually expecting to play games maxed out at 1080p@60hz. That is generally the issue I see people having with DE:MD. I hope the DX12 patch improves it.

Nevertheless, ME:A is using Frostbite 3 Engine and it is not likely to be as hardware demanding as DE:MD.

That's true. Frostbite 3 runs like a dream. The only thing it doesn't do well, in my opinion, is big crowds.

But in MEA I expect vast unexplored worlds, so that won't really be a problem.

It should. All depends on what setting you put it on. It might be able to chug out ultra, no Anti-Aliasing, but with a very low framerate. Prolly do better with High or Good settings. Of course, all this is purely speculation right now, as we don't have the specs.

i really like pathfinder's setting but i REALLY don't like how focused on min/maxing the rules are. it's designed from the ground up by and for min/maxer's and autists. the rest of us normies have to play on crayon eater difficulty just to hit a target.

If my 3770k@4.2+GTX980(OC) can't run it on at least very high in 1080p/60fps, then I'll be upgrading my computer for this: it's an imperative mission, requires the right hardware (I'm sure Shepard would approve of this sentiment, lol).

My #1 request is to support controllers 100% this time round: my hands hurt from too long at the desk in the day, want couch commander time for my adventures in Andromeda!

If DAI is anything to go by, the game will run well on weaker PCs (I first played it on my laptop with a GTX 675MX) but the highest setting will be fairly demanding. On my new gaming PC (1440p monitor) I was way below 60fps with a GTX 970. Sometimes close to 30...

I'll be getting a 1070 soon (sold my 970 months ago) so I'll be good. But I wouldn't worry with a 970 or 980 (on 1080p anyway).

I was just here. Where did I go...?
