PC System Requirements speculation

I can see that I might have to finally upgrade my cpu (and motherboard and ram :/) if I want to play this game on decent settings. The 6350 isn't going to cut it going forward.

well I upgraded my pc earlier this year, shoved the ram to 16gb and replaced the r9-270 2gb with an rx480 8gb, i was looking at the NVidia cards but the cheapest one launched with a price tag nearly double that of the amd so it really wasn't a question

i think my next upgrade will be a new ssd cos the Samsung 840 is nearing its expected 5 yr life ex point, maybe i'll get two newer ones though and use one for games to load on instead of a spinner to avoide the load lag they generate/

I might upgrade my card to a 480 with 8 gigs of RAM, from 290.

Let's keep this simple. Were you able to play DA:I at least in medium settings?
If yes then you're gonna be playing ME:A at about the same settings (maybe slightly lower). If no then I'd worry a bit more, but you'll still be able to play I think, just at crappy settings.

Remember that DA:I was the first Bio game that used Frosbite and in my opinion they did a good job. It's only natural that they improved the engine for ME:A.
Graphics wise, ME:A doesn't particularly look much more superior than DA:I's, so I don't think they'll ask for some crazy builds, and even if they do remember that most of the time is bullshit. They amp their system specs just to appeal to the market and make people upgrade unnecessarily their PCs.

Just checked out a youtube clip of Battlefield 1 running pretty decent on a gtx 680. That raised my hopes a bit.

Then maybe OC my cpu a bit if needed and I might actually get some halway decent performance after all!

I tried the beta on a 660Ti (not overclocked) and was able to play at average 60fps with the settings on medium. Game still looked fantastic.

Impressed by the Frostbite engine to be honest, seems well optimized. DICE knows their stuff!

Recommended:
GPU: 4gb, gtx 970 or better
RAM: 16gb
CPU: Intel i7 mid range or better 3.0ghz

Utra/4k:
GPU: 8gb+, gtx 1070, 1080
RAM: 16gb  (DDR4)
CPU: 4.0ghz, Intel i7 6700k or better

Think Andromeda will run on a comp with a 6850 Radeon?

My guess is yes, at least on minimum, possibly on medium, 1080p resolution (not on 4K naturally).

Didn't really want to bring it up, but I played with a controller on my PC, and discovered something REALLY annoying: the PC version controls require A LOT more processing power than the console one. With PC controls, I was only able to run it on low settings. When I used the controller, I was able to upgrade it to medium settings...

It made me think that the game was desgined for console, and the PC controls are something built on top of that which requires more resources.
Really annoying.

Also for some reason, even when the settings didn't change, while playing with PC controller the graphics seemed to be grainier than it did with the controller. Again really annoying.
