I vaguely recall threads on the old forums that mentioned techniques that one can utilize to maximize the chances of obtaining Ultra Rare weapons. If I am correct, then I think I read that buying Reserve Packs are best when standard Rares are already maxed out. Can anyone confirm this?

I figured I would try to established a fully complete manifest before Andromeda releases. Thanks!

I maxed most of mine through PSP's.Other than a better chance of character cards in Reserve packs,it just seemed to me that all the 99k packs had about the same chance for UR's.That's just my take on it though.

If you have everything but URs maxed out then the only constraint is time and credits. All the 99K packs have the same drop rate.

Yes, don't waste too many consumables (rockets, gels, ops, clips) while playing, and mostly buy regular Spectre Packs. This way you can maintain not having to worry about wasting cash on Jumbo Packs as often, if ever. This is a tactic I've been using on PS3 account. It's been so long since I've wasted money on Jumbo Packs that I only have level 3 & 4 consumables. I kid you not. Though this is only playing Gold. When I return I will be moving onto Platinum to speed up this account progress via this tactic.

There was the strategy of uninstalling all DLCs to ever so slightly increase ur drop rate (fewer guns to take up slots). I think this is extreme.

My tip would be to get ready for a 600-1500 hour slog, depending on your luck.

Make sure your consumables are maxed (at 255 each), then your packs are going to give you better drops. As for ultrarares, I have been getting them on my alt accounts even tho the most expensive packs I buy are 60k ones. Pray to RNG, I rub my cats tummy three times and touch her front right paw for luck.

The strategy for maxing your manifest depends upon who you play with. If you are with a bad ass team that can handle platinum fairly easily then you are better off buying the 99k packs because you won't be burning through your consumables so quickly. If playing with pugs, you are better off playing gold and buying 60k packs.

One thing to notice is that reserve packs have a 50% chance that the second slot with be a character card. So if all your characters are at level 20, then you are better off buying the other 99k packs as they will give a level 3 amp instead.

I think it takes about 800 hours to max a manifest. At this stage of the game's life, I would suggest you enjoy the game with what you have and wait for Andromeda.

Of course, if you are on PC then it could be done a lot faster ..... :wizard:
