no you don't understand why i picked green. i picked green because I live in the past. not because purple sucks. The one that was, was played by a schizophrenic actor. he retired soon after seeing msgs in the script. therefore the change of main. and know what, he got the the broadway and was really sick. but the purple is the way better station, when you are finally accepted into the fandom. which i hopefully will be. Babylon 5, DS9 and so on they were my childhood. I do not need a wiki. Lyta was the best story arc. and the toughest episodes to watch. Ulkesh aöways scared, When I was little, as did all Vorlons. funny thing i was never scared of the shadows. no not IRL but in the show. what I am still scared of is this babylon5.wikia.com/wiki/Drakhand this babylon5.wikia.com/wiki/Keeperand of course the corrupted molari. never watched the sequel but all movies. oh and the best episode by far

I don't know if you've watched far enough to realize what a brilliant situation this is, but once you do, it'll be even better And on that note, obviously there be spoilers here. It's the reason I haven't merged/locked your other thread. Just tread with caution.

Better keep it on the QT, you don't want Ivanova to get a whiff of what's going on.

As someone who never watched them before, I wasn't about to go invest a lot of money in purchasing the series. Besides, I have not a single device on which to view them. So streaming only?

Ok. I understand. I only have 3MB connection and no way I would stream -if possible any show anyway. I do a lot of video and audio editing so I have to have access to the whole thing at one time.

I never saw much of this show and what little I did was well into the series. As a result, I was never able to follow it closely. I more or less know how it ends because I googled it after it was over because plenty of it sounded interesting to me. It didn't help that it basically wasn't available to watch anywhere. Now it's on Amazon Prime and I'm starting from S1E1 Anyone have any thoughts about it? Interesting or not? Reminds me of a fellow, who was never into BSG and used quotes to pick up gurls here. sheesh Hm: Some stuff you should learn 'The Psi Corps is your friend. Trust the Corps.' 'Obey.' Bloodhound units are specially trained telepaths under the authority of the Psi Cops, used to hunt down fugitives through empathic tracking and scanning of witnesses, informants and suspects. 'Leave this place, they are not for you.' 'The avalanche has already started. It is too late for the pebbles to vote.' 'You do not understand. Go.' 'We have sent for an inquisitor.' 'We are fighting to save one another. And some must be sacrificed if all are to be saved.' 'I don't like this...I don't like this a lot.' – Michael.. ..Garibaldi 'No one's ever been to the Vorlon homeworld and back. Yet she goes and comes back like she's just been to the corner store.' dat should be enough pick up lines, dude ;']

Funny enough, though my connection is slow as hell on my computer, it works just fine when I connect a Roku and stream through it.

I think they should remaster/update all the CGI (like they did with OS Star Trek) and re-release the whole damn thing for the 30th anniversary.

OK, so I got through a big chunk of S1. As I was watching I couldn't help but wonder if ME wasn't influenced by this show. It's not a perfect match by any means but they seem to have some elements in common.

Except of course, B5 knows how to bring it home. Keep watching. Also, since your thread was moving more towards straight up discussion, I took the liberty of merging it. You're on the right path. Keep watching!

Still, to me, B5 rules them all.

Also know of the ancient "gods" (it was this stuff that originally attracted my attention so I know a bit about the Vorlons and Shadows) which are almost, but not quite, equivalent to the Leviathan and Reapers (since the Leviathan had goodish intentions that went seriously awry). Then we've got the old races and the new/current ones. And then there's *ahem* breaking the cycle.
I've heard the Expanse becomes Mass Effectish so I might be watching both of these shows at the same time.

Don't think to far along those lines your mind will not survive the ending and the 'say what?' bits.
