Where are all the Platinum Ecks Bocks BSNers?

Out of the 2000 hours or what ever I have played I bet I have only played no joke under 50 hours with bsners. I host 99.99999% of the time so I assume that they are hosting too and the reason I never run into anyone.

I just assume I play at different times than everyone else bc of my work schedule. But I don't see many in pugs anyway and prolly have less than 50 hours too.

I never ever ever PUG platinum because it's a giant unwinnable shit-fest, full of noobs who somehow manage to be more lethal (to me) than the enemies are. The only times I've entered a plat match with a PUG is when we've started on Silver or Gold and worked our way up, or that one time I searched for Bronze with a level 1 Batarian Soldier and it threw me into a Glacier Hazard/Collectors/Platinum match in progress. Was not fun.

I only play plat games with other bsners because pugging plat with pugs is a big sharp knife in the dick vein.

I don't find Platinum to be boring or a grind but it is decidedly less fun than Gold (with one exception) and also makes little sense. Having all the factions fight against you at the same time is kind of silly. Although to be fair, the butchered lore allows for it. 

As for the exception - Gold can be no fun with a good team. I much prefer gold, but if you have a couple BSNers land in your lobby it can quickly become trivial. At such point, Platinum is fine.

As for the thread, I could be bothered to play on the xbox again. I find I transition poorly from PC to console, but it makes for some fun shaking off the rust.
