i just let Samara shoot herself and then i shot Falere. I also killed Mordin yesterday. At that rate the Brat won't need the Reapers , i'm doing just fine.

You should chat with themikefest. He can tell you how to do an ultimate Renegade run. It's possible to kill every crew mate in the series by the time you hit the end of ME3. Including Liara, but that takes a low EMS beam run. Under 2k, if memory serves.

However, I'll never understand her punching a Paragon Shep. <shrug> That, and she still calls renegade Shep queen of the girl scouts. I heard that line and my reaction was . I was really hoping for something a bit more appropriate since I don't renegade very often.

You might be the only one that has posted that. I usually bring Ashley/Kaidan for extra dialogue they have on the shuttle. If Garrus is taken along with Ashley/Kaidan, he will overrule their dialogue. This is another scene I like to of had an interrupt or at least some harsh dialogue

As a Jackmancer, I'll say that about her too. All of this works better in romance, but not as well as alternative scenes. Same goes for the pouting and drama surrounding the VS on Mars. Or Miranda's ass. Or Tali the closetalker. That's one reason I wanted to use that backoff mod.. it looks like it tones down some things and puts it back in your hands. Not sure how though.

Not today per say, but over the past week I've played a new female SS/War Hero Sentinel file using an online dice roller to determine 90% of dialogue choice Shepard makes (the other 10% were quests I wanted to accept for exp, paragon/renegade options when something had an otherwise unsatisfying conclusion, and misclicks I didn't have the heart to reload). Notable decisions include picking shotguns as a bonus power, killing Charn/Balak in BDtS, killing the Rachni Queen, letting Shiala/Rana Thanoptis live, romancing Liara, not giving Tali the geth data, keeping Wrex alive, having Ashley die on Virmire, (somehow) talking Saren into suicide, and abandoning the Council to die. Obviously, I also found some cool new dialogue I'd never seen before.
I had to take a break after Freedom's Progress to think on how I want to handle the recruitment/loyalty missions and the Suicide Mission and maybe also to steel myself against automatically going for Garrus. There's also the issue where when I tab back into ME2 it has the tendency to automatically select a dialogue option I had hovered over by mistake. Sorry Udina, looks like you won't be Councillor this time.

That's why from now on, when I play a Shepard that wouldn't accept being punched (had none so far, but my next Shep will be like this), she'll unfortunately perish during the SM I also like the atmosphere during Grissom a lot more without Jack around, even if she's one of my favourite characters. The romance punch was a great one though, I enjoyed it a lot.

You're gonna kill her because she punches? There's gotta be better reasons. Please? Blame their inability to write alternative scenes. Don't blame Jack.... Especially when you can't easily kill other characters for such reasons. I mean, don't personify it (I'd even say that for Liara and her creepiness). It's a bad game design. Not a character trait. And if you really are against Cerberus, don't kill Cerberus' main victim on your crew. Killing her is for people who don't give a shit. Not people who do.

Well take my second reason I wrote, I like Grissom more without her In my next run a lot folks will die because my Shepard won't accept the auto-friendship with Garrus or Tali, or... EVERYONE. Muahaha. Oh I look forward to that I might skip talking to Liara as well.

And this game does such a shitty job at promoting any human endeavor, I'll take what I can get. We're out worrying about Krogan babies and Pinnochio, and everyone gets a big role, while this is set as an non-priority mission. When all of the novels were about Ascension. If they can't give a shit, then I'm gonna do my best to do it at least. The only person on my crew who seems to care is Sam.

Hello my lovelies. Who can tell me how to get the 'rally the crowd' option for Shepard at Tali's trial. Is it a percentage thing of paragon to renegade? Or enough paragon points? I read (somewhere else ) that you had to have certain armour? Like inferno or something. IDK. I just want to see Shepard yell. Also if you've seen Stranger Things, do you not think that Eleven is a parallel of Jack. I mean they even have a character called Shepard.

Afaik rally the crowd becomes available after: - you talked to Admirals and - you asked Veetor and Kal'Reegar for help. Definitely not connected to armor. And - afaik - this is not connected to paragon/renegade.

Ok, yesterday Jenna helped Liara out with her Shadow Broker problem. Jenna's the type who would help a friend in trouble, even a slightly worrying friend who she's not exactly happy about having been brought back from the dead by. As a former criminal, Jenna has a fairly low tolerance of cops, but really despises crooked cops and enjoyed fighting Vasir. Kicking the Shadow Broker's butt with her fists and biotics took her right back to her adolescence. Died once, when I got a bit gung ho on the Broker ship hull, but i found Vasir surprisingly easy compared to Infiltrator Shep. Vanguard is a cinch! Just you wait till i die four or five times getting the Reaper IFF or attempt Overlord, to be fair the latter's suicide spots tend to be Hammerhead related rather than gunfire. I also missed all the paragon interrupts after the Vasir fight, it didn't seem to make a huge difference though.
Question: are half the videos on the Broker Ship supposed to mean anything to me? I recognised most of the subjects, but who's the guy having the argument with the mirror? What's with the krogan feeding the salarian to the varren on tuchanka? Who's the guy Aria has shot? What's going on with Bailey, Udina or Anderson? And why is Emily Wong having a girls night out of any interest to the Shadow Broker?

Started a new ME1 playthrough by importing Karen Shepard, my level 55 Soldier (Shock Trooper), into a new game +. Decided to go with the Explorer armour from Devlon Industries for this run. I know it doesn't have the best stats, but I prefer to switch it up on each playthrough, and I like the way it looks. I have matching sets for squad mates, too - I always liked that we could do that in ME1, before catsuits and cheerleader outfits came into the series. On the bridge, Joker's raged that Nihlus' praise of his "incredible" pilot skills wasn't enthusiastic enough, to the amusement of Shepard and Kaidan. Then, before heading to the mission briefing with Captain Anderson and Nihlus, Shepard took a moment to salvage some excess equipment acquired on her previous assignment - you can never have too much Omni-Gel, after all. On the way to the briefing, she spoke to Navigator Pressly, Cpl Jenkins, and Dr Chakwas, who all expressed varying levels of skepticism over the nature of the supposed "shakedown run" mission, and the presence of Nihlus the Council Spectre agent. Jenkins was so "wound up" that Shepard told him to cool down lest he get himself killed. He also described growing up on Eden Prime - the colony they were headed towards - and Shepard couldn't help but think of her home colony of Mindoir, which was attacked by slavers resulting in the deaths of the rest of her family. Jenkins suggested Shepard would make a good Spectre agent herself, following her heroic defense of Elysium during the Skyllian Blitz. Apparently the Council agreed, because one of the two bombshells that Anderson and Nihlus dropped on Shepard during the briefing was that she was in fact being considered for membership in the Spectres. The other was the discovery of a working 50K year old Prothean beacon on Eden Prime. After some discussion on the mission, the Protheans, and the beacon, the briefing was interrupted by transmission that the Eden Prime was under attack, making things much more complicated. Shepard, Kaidan, and Jenkins landed on Eden Prime, with Nihlus scouting further ahead. Shepard's concerns about Jenkins turned out to be correct, unfortunately. He was killed by a couple of recon drones after stepping out into the open, despite the presence of nearby rock formations to use as cover. (In fact, the whole area looked like it had been designed as a tutorial for new recruits on how to properly make use of cover ) Shepard and Kaidan met up with Ashley, a soldier from the Eden Prime garrison. She'd been battling some Geth who had impaled a colonist on a strange looking spike for some reason. Ashley filled them in on the Geth attack, and led them to the beacon dig site. The beacon had been moved, and Ashley suggested checking the scientists' camp site, while Nihlus radioed to say he was investigating a space port further ahead. At the camp, the squad found more of the "Dragon's Teeth" spikes, which were being used to people into husks. They defeated the husks and located Dr Warren and her assistant Manuel, who informed them that the beacon had been moved to the spaceport that Nihlus was investigating. The attack had clearly had an effect on Manuel, who was raving like some sort of doomsday cultist. At the spaceport, they were attacked by more Geth and husks, and witnessed a huge, ominous looking spaceship rising up into the sky over the colony, accompanied by a loud, mind shattering noise. The team rescued some farmers who were hidden in a cabin near the spaceport, who gave them more info on the attack, the huge ship that had just blasted off, and that "horrible noise" it made, which "made it almost impossible to think." Once at the spaceport, they found the body of Nihlus, and the one dock worker who had survived the attack, Powell. He claimed that Nihlus had been shot in the back by another Turian named Saren, and that the two had seemed to know each other. After laying on a guilt trip - Powell had been running a smuggling ring, stealing from the marines who died trying to defend the colony - the team made their way to the beacon, battling more Geth along the way. Saren was attempting to destroy the colony to cover up all evidence of the attack, so Shepard disabled the explosive charges while Ashley and Kaidan provided cover. The squad them mopped up the remaining Geth forces and secured the spaceport. While arranging for pickup, Kaidan inadvertently activated the beacon. Shepard was lifted up into the air and saw a series of horrific and confusing images flashing through her mind, before the beacon exploded and she collapsed to the ground. She woke up hours later in the Normandy med bay, and was debriefed by Anderson on what she saw. He informed her that they were headed to the Citadel to give the Council a report on what happened; they were bound to be displeased about the destruction of the beacon, the death of Nihlus, and the accusations against Saren, who turned out to be a fellow Spectre agent. Shepard checked in with Ashley and Kaidan, then got ready to face the music on the Citadel. After taking in the spectacular view the the Citadel, and the flagship Destiny Ascension, the ground team from Eden Prime met up with Anderson and Ambassador Udina in the human embassy. Udina was outraged at the attack on Eden Prime and demanded that the Council take action, but they insisted that the accusations against Saren would be dealt with at a later hearing. Shepard had some time to kill before the hearing, so she decided to get "the lay of the land" and see if there was anything further she could learn on the Citadel that might help with the investigation into Saren's activities. Up next: exploring the Citadel (Exposition! Exposition everywhere!) Reached level 56 during the Eden Prime mission.

I always assumed the Salarian being pushed into the varren pit was the merchant who brought pyjaks to Tuchanka - I can't remember if Ratch mentioned the merchant's race or not. There's speculation that the guy in the mirror is Elias Kelham's lawyer, from Thane's loyalty mission. The Emily Wong ones were mostly "fan service", as far as I can tell, unless someone else has another theory. Not sure about the others.

Okay, I am really mad at the quarians right now! They are attacking the geth. Again. During the war with the Reapers. How crazy can they get? It seems that Admiral Koris, the only sane voice from back when I met them all during Tali's trial, wasn't successful in pushing for peace. Too bad. And now the quarians are trapped in their home system because of a geth dreadnought that's broadcasting a Reaper signal, which boosts up all geth. If I don't do anything a lot of innocent civilians die... I'll try to deactivate this signal, and maybe then I can appeal to them to leave the geth alone. Damn, why couldn't they hold back in a time like this? Maybe if Tali was alive, or Legion, they'd... ugh, doesn't help to think like that. Well on to better news then. I met Samara and Jacob! Both are alive and fine, even though the circumstances I met them under were far from good. One of Samara's daughters was turned into one of these creatures the Reapers make... sad story. And Jacob and his fellow ex-Cerberus friends were found by Cerberus. Fortunately we could evacuate almost everyone. There were even kids there, and this whole thing could've been a lot worse, but luck was on our side. Jacob found someone among those people. I'm happy for him. Having someone like that might be the very best thing that can happen during a time like this. Once I dealt with the quarian-geth situation I hope I can meet both Samara and Jacob on the Citadel to hang out a little. We'll see. For now, the dreadnought has taken priority. See ya! Some screenies:

--Saved the Rachni Queen. Grunt made it out alive. That's an excellent sequence and if he isn't loyal, a great send off. As it is, it's truly a badass moment. --Said goodbye to Thane. I'm still confused as to the line about "You won't be alone long." That would apply to a romanced FemShep, but not to one like mine. She doesn't know what's going to happen, but she's not gong into this thinking that death is the only outcome. I don't understand your comment about an unloyal Grunt on Utukku (Rachni Queen/Breeder, Missing Krogan scouts mission). The one time I had an unloyal Grunt in ME3, he survived that mission. As for Thane I take it one of two ways: 1. Shepard is going to personally send a whole lot of Cerberus personnel into the afterlife. 2. Thane will meet his dead wife. Probably number 2, but I prefer number 1.

Yes, the guy having the argument in the mirror (and later the same guy who runs over the Turian in the skycar) is Elias Kelham's lawyer. Most of the videos is probably just stuff the developers put in for fun or as a joke, and possibly to show just how much information the Shadow Broker has, even if most of it is just fluff. The Krogan stuff is probably just a 'Meanwhile, back on Tuchanka' kind of thing. I don't recall seeing Urdnot Torsk on Tuchanka, but there he is. The Aria thing is mostly just Aria being Aria, the ultimate power broker on Omega. Emily Wong is just 'hey, remember her?' kind of thing, most likely. I wouldn't read too much into it. Udina, Bailey, and Anderson is probably just to show they are all up to things when Shepard is not around. Or maybe I am off base on all of this, who knows.

Shawna Shepard: 1. Went back to Omega to go recruit Archangel. Collecting the bounty for killing him would be easier, but The Illusive Man is paying her more credits to keep bring him back alive.
2. Signed up with mercs as a freelancer. Some other kid also signed up after her. If he wants to get himself killed, that's his problem.
3. Sabotaged a YMIR mech. Talked to a bunch of the merc leaders. Garm offered Grunt a job, but Grunt turned him down saying Shepard was better. That turned out to be true.
4. Some guy was fixing a gunship. She stabbed him in the back and electrocuted him.
5. Ran out with the freelancers. Archangel sniped a few of them, including the kid. No tears were shed.
6. Blew up a bomb being planted by some of the mercs. It killed the mercs.
7. Discovered Archangel was actually Garrus. Shawna was now kind of glad she did not try to kill him.
8. Defended Garrus from the Eclipse mercs. The Eclipse brought in their mech. The sabotaged mech fought the mercs. The Eclipse never stood a chance
(I died once here when I got greedy and tried to run from some clips. My cload ran out too soon and I died trying to get back.)
9. Blood Pack Mercs were trying to sneak into the base from the lower floor. Left Grunt with Garrus and took Jacob. Closed a bunch of shutters while taking out large swaths of Vorcha, some Krogan, and a few Varren.
(I died several times at the shutters. A few times because I got low on health with no place to run from the Krogan/Varren. and a few times because one Vorcha got really aggressive and I screwed up with Cloak instead of using medi-gel. And also that Vorcha Pyro got me because I screwed up really bad with a stupid move.)
10. Made it back to help Garrus just in time as Garm and his men attacked. Rushed up to try to head off Garm and the other Krogan. It did not work as planned, but it still ended up working. All Blood Pack mercs dead.
11. Blue Suns attacked with a gunship and dropped off some men (and women). Killed the people on foot, then destroyed the gunship with the grenade launcher. Garrus got hit back by a rocket, but some medi-gel and surgery from Dr. Chakwas saved his life. He's good to go.

I don't understand your comment about an unloyal Grunt on Utukku (Rachni Queen/Breeder, Missing Krogan scouts mission). The one time I had an unloyal Grunt in ME3, he survived that mission.
I believe he will survive regardless if you pick Aralakh over the rachni, but if you pick the rachni queen, he will die if not loyal.
I've always had him loyal so can someone else confirm this?
