Yep, that's your problem right there. You listen on the doctor's conversation and he mentions someone spouting off about Cerberus near the medical station... that's Verner. He's standing in the area close to Avina. It's a great conversation... to back you're missing it. It is really funny! Just keep clicking on him until he doesn't have anything new to say. Then go fix the dispensers.

I grabbed Jack, using the Jacob/Zaeed party. I did take the Paragon option to convince the guard to stop the torture of the prisoner. I also took the Paragon options with Jack. In Alex's eyes, being rude to her would like poking a wounded and cornered tiger. Not a great idea.
I found it a little more challenging as a biotic over a solider, but I'm enjoying it. The music that starts up after Jack breaks out is one of my favorites in the game. It has a sense of urgency and danger that I really enjoy, combined with a fast beat.
I decided to stop by the Citadel to take care of shopping and to recruit Kasumi. I made sure to trigger her annoyed line. "Seriously, how many times can you walk by without stopping?" It gives me a chuckle every time. I think I'm easily amused.
I also took a different path with Khalisah. While I didn't punch her and I never wanted to, I did have Shep yell at her for disrespecting the dead. I found myself cheering at the screen. As much as Paragon Shep can say things similar to me, some Renegade options also sound like things I've said.
After playing the game for a few hours, I've concluded that I think Mark's performance as Sheploo is every bit as a good as Jennifer's for FemShep. They have different styles, but I've seen this in games before. Jennifer tends to be more emotive, whereas Mark is more dry.
I noticed this in Saints Row the 3rd and 4th, two games I absolutely adore. Troy Baker as Male Voice #1 (yep, same guy from ME3) as the Boss is more dry and stoic overall. Lauren Bailey as Female Voice #1 is more expressive and bluntly smartassed. I enjoy both quite a bit, although Nolan North in 4th> all.
Brief OT: I wonder why so many VA directors do this. The women are more expressive and the men are more dry. It would be nice to see more of the reverse every once in awhile. /offtopic

I have began my new ME2 playthrough. This Shepard is a Geth plasma shotgun welding Vanguard with reave as his bonus power. I changed Shepard's class because in my headcanon Cerberus made modifications to him during the Lazarus project in order to improve him. M-4 Shuriken is probably one of my least favorite weapons in the ME universe, I can't wait to get my hands on the Locust. I have also equipped Shep with my favorite armor, the Termius Assault Armor, I think it's a pretty awesome looking set of armor.
After disabling a bunch of mech on a space station, a meeting with TIM and an investigation on a deserted colony, my Shep went to Omega to recruit his new team. William Shep took Jacob and Zaeed to get this Salarian scientist named Morris Solus. The team met fierce resistance from Blue Sun and Blood pack mercernaries on their way to the clinic, and the mercs were no match to Cmdr. Shepard's team. Commander also helped a sick Batarian, killled two looters and a couple of Batarians who were going to kill Mordin's assistant.
Returned to Omega to recruit Archangel, this time with Mordin and Zaeed, so I could finally get rid of the untrustworthy Cerberus loyalists. Shep and his team signed up with the mercs, reconfigured a heavy mech and electrocuted the gunship mechanic. The stupid kid who thought himself as a great warrior was killed by Archangel the second he entered battlefield, whatever, that's what you get for being an idiot. Archangel turned out to be Garrus, which was a happy moment for Shep, because that was one more team member Shep could trust. We killed a lots of mercs, Garrus was wounded but survived. After all, it was a great fight.
Shep got back to Normandy, chatted with some people, shared a bottle of brandy with Doc and delivered a datapad containing sensitive information to Aria. I then stopped by Citadel to do some shopping and got my Spectre status back. Anderson didn't enjoy the job as the councilor, but still I would not give such an important duty to that treacherous bastard Udina. Recruited Kasumi, bought some fishes that were doomed to die from starvation and told a Krogan that there were no fishes on Presidium.
Next time Cmdr. Shepard will recruit Jack and Grunt, kick some Collector butts and more.

Jeff Shepard: After returning from Eden Prime, I met Kaidan for dinner. He surprised me by telling me he wanted me in his life as something much more than friends. The last time I decided to date a crew member after going to Eden Prime, she ended up dying while I faced off against Saren. I still miss Ash, and I know Kaidan does too. So I was even more surprised when I found myself saying I wanted the same thing. I don't know where this will lead. Maybe after the war they'll charge us with fraternization. If they try, I'll grab Jack and follow her old advice - we'll become space pirates!
Back to Tuchanka to rescue the Primarch's son and his platoon. Not an easy thing, especially when I learn that they're there to disable a bomb that Cerberus has. Setting it off could end the fragile peace between the krogan and turians. It doesn't help that Lt. Victus screwed up and got most of his men killed.
Liara wrote my name in the stars. Traynor kicked my ass in chess.
Third time on Tuchanka, this time to assist with the disabling of the bomb. Turns out this was a turian bomb placed there centuries ago. Cerberus just found out about it and decided they ought to detonate it. Unfortunately, Lt. Victus died setting things right. He was remembered as a hero.
Went to Noveria to take out a Cerberus fighter base. Not sure why I brought Liara with me. Her mother died here. It has to be one of her least favorite places in the galaxy.
Investigated an asari colony. In fact, it's a monastery where Ardat-Yakshi are sent to live. These are predatory asari who kill when engaging in what would otherwise be a mating process. The ones here have chosen peaceful existence. Problem is that many of them have been turned into a new kind of Reaper we're calling banshees. Found two sisters, Rila and Falere. Rila had been partially changed and sacrificed her life to detonate a bomb left by asari commandos. It took out hundreds of banshees. Falere was the only survivor and I left her alone on her world.

straykat I'm a fan of older techno as well. I like the occasional Paul Oakenfold and I've seen Lords of Acid in concert. Another night of alternating between playing ME2, doing laundry and playing with my dogs. I'm getting to ready to release Grunt. I also know the game is going to tell me 'But Thou Must' go to Horizon. I'm going to take Garrus and Jacob with me. Garrus is going to override any dialogue that Jacob might have when talking to Ash. I like having Garrus there, since he actually knows Ashley. The voice acting is pretty damned good on his part too. I took Jack and Zaeed with me to recruit Garrus. As a group, it was a great idea. It worked well and we were doing a fine job. Then, when the groups separate, I made the mistake of taking Jack. I needed a heavy hitter and at lower levels we didn't quite have the biotic power to make it smooth. That was a few game overs. Oh well, lesson learned. Then I figured it was time to go pick up the Boy in the Tank. I took Jacob and Jack with me for that one. Holy. Crap. Between the three of us, it was the quickest I've ever gotten through that mission. I was giggling like a maniacal schoolgirl while tearing things apart. I also took the Renegade option for scaring the wounded merc. Jacob griped, but I chuckled. I've got a quarter of a bar higher in Paragon than in Renegade. I really hope I can keep that up as the game goes on.

Hey there, we found it!! We actually found Leviathan. I would never have dreamed to experience something like this. It was a long chase and we traveled to 3 systems to find it, but in the end it was worth it. We found Dr. Garneau in a mining facility, or not-Garneau, because Garneau had been dead for some time. There was an artifact like in Dr. Bryson's lab there, and the Garneau imposter destroyed it. This was actually Leviathan, connected through the artifact and influencing the people there. They were in this state 10 years! 10!! Messed up. It sounds still so dangerous when I write it like that, and it is, but now Leviathan is an ally. We followed more clues and rescued Dr. Bryson's daughter Ann from a dig site on Namakli. There were Reaper forces everywhere. They wanted to find Leviathan as badly as we did. Our last stop was in the middle of the ocean. Our shuttle crashed on some structure due to a pulse created by Leviathan, so we could've either waited to die right there, or try to finish what we started. It was such a crazy plan from Steve, but it was the only way. I took one of the diving mechs and went down there. Into the deep, deep sea. You should've seen it. Words won't do justice to what I saw down there. It was... beautiful, haunting, breathtaking, eerie and magnificent, all at the same time. A whole different world. (I already told Garrus we need to go diving at some point!) I followed the probe we sent down earlier, and then it appeared. An enormous Reaper-looking creature. Stunning. I learned more about the Reapers, their origin, how the Leviathans developed an intelligence to keep peace aeons ago, but it turned on them and made them into the first Reaper. Now the leftover Leviathans fight on our side, and we might have a good chance now. I'm keeping a positive attitude. We'll see how it goes. I will finally go talk to the asari councilor when we arrive at the Citadel, so... until next time! Pics! Investigating at the mining facility. Still one of my favourite levels Thanks Garrus, but I want to open locked doors, leave me be! Walking nightmares Cloaking fun again. Cryo Ammo froze two husks at once with one shot. That's cool. Die, Marauder! The worrying boyfriend I liked Kaidan's delivery of the sentence more, hehe. God, this was such a bad run. I thought it would be super easy with the Infiltrator, but I ended up in the worst positions. Swarmed by enemies, somehow I had the impression they could still see me when cloaked, and I died 2 or 3 times on Despoina On the other hand I'm having so much fun with the Shotgun still, and next time I play a Soldier, it's gonna be a Shotgun Soldier

I tend to play a lot of ME2 when it's Laundry Night. Plowing right through that and the game itself.
--Just did Horizon. Sadly, I was wrong. Jacob overrode Garrus, something that's never happened before. Maybe it's because I've been dragging Jacob around more? I don't know. In any case, the scene was a little sad as usual. The way that Sheploo's voice broke when he said, "I've had enough of this colony," was surprisingly poignant. Then he sounded like the most miserable bastard in the Milky Way. Ouch.
--I've been making sure to talk to Kelly constantly this run. Not only do I want him to get his fish back in ME3, but he's the type that could use a platonic dinner with a pretty gal. He's also comfortable with therapists, since I imagine he had one assigned to him after Akuze. So huzzah for therapy and huzzah for pretty girls. He did admit that he missed Ash quite a bit.
--Shep's got drunk with the Doc. She needed company and he needed to get drunk for a bit.
--I'm off to go get Tali now. I'm going to take Miranda and Garrus for this one. For this Shep, Tali was his best friend, far more so than Garrus to be honest. As soon as the quest popped up, I knew that the character would rush off to go get her. I'm RP'ing it to where Alex doesn't want to date Tali but he adores her nevertheless.
Alex's thoughts about the crew so far.
--Jack. Yeah. Batshit crazy and more than a little broken. He wants to help her, but is very leery of her. On a meta-level, I've been avoiding her after the first conversation to dodge the romance. On a RP level, she reminds Shep of Talitha, only pissed off, more lucid (not entirely sane,) and bloodthirsty. So he doesn't go down to her area much.
--Garrus. The kid finally grew up, the hard and brutal way. Alex felt a little bad, but Garrus had big dreams of being a vigilante hero. He needed to learn the lesson. Shep is going to get along with Garrus more in this game. He's like my Shep's little brother.
--Mordin. Seems like a good person. Maybe too clinical in his assessment of Krogan. Shep finds him brilliant and kind. Talks too much though. Salarians have so much to say. He's useful, but might not get used much. Shame that. Might find him a place in a mission or two.

Vance Shepard (cont'd)
"Damn Hackett" Vance thought as he put off tracking down Saren to go disarm a nuke in the Voyager cluster.
Mission Log: Agebinium - Bomb disarming mission turned out to be trap set by an old nemisis from Elysium thinking he could lure me there, trap me in a mine, and steal the Normandy. I managed to disarm the bomb, find a back way out of the mine, and put an boot up Haliat's ass... bet they were surprised when I opened fire on them from behind their tent. (Note to self: Wrex seemed a little winded from the long hike around and fell way behind. I will have to work in some sort of conditioning program for the crew to get them into better shape.)
Private Log: Had a great chat with Ashley today... seems we share a lot of interests and an old drill sergeant. The conversation was going really well until she mentioned wanting to kiss a Turian. I'll have to keep a closer eye on her and that Garrus fellow. At first she talked like she didn't trust aliens, but I'm starting to wonder if that isn't some sort of ruse.
Mission Log: Therum - Finally tracked down Benezia's daughter, Dr. Liara T'Soni. It doesn't seem like she's going to be much help though. She claims to have been studying Protheans for a full half century, but I learned more about them from a single damaged beacon than she's managed to piece together in all that time. Even so, she is an asari biotic, so maybe I can toughen her up and make a commando out of her yet.
Private Log: The number of possible crew members fraternizing with each other is becoming an increasing problem aboard the ship. Kaidan now seems to have developed some sort of interest in Liara, although he claims to just be appreciating the "art." I have to admit, Asari have great bods, but Ash's butt is every bit as nice as Liara's. I find myself ordering her to the front line more and more just to sneak a peak. I think she secretly has a real thing for aliens though... now she wants to ask Liara about her sex life. I blurted out that I didn't think that was the best way for her to spend her time (thinking she would be better off spending some time with me)... Got to watch myself... I think I'm getting a little jealous where she's concerned... and there are regs.
"Damm it, Hackett!" Well, at least that's what Vance wanted to say. "Now, he wants me to shut down some sort of VI on the moon on my way back to the Citadel." Vance held his tongue though and refrained from being too insubordinate. "Was anyone hurt?" he asked. Hackett indicated that 17 marines had been killed, but it sounded like the facility had now been abandoned... no one else was in immediate danger, so Vance resolved to not just jump at Hackett's every whim. There had been some news flashes on the Citadel about a missing survey team in the Hades Gamma cluster, and one set of coordinates that Blake woman gave him is also in that cluster. "She said I'd be well paid, Vance mused... "We'll just make a little detour of our own first."
Mission Log: Hades Gamma Cluster - Took out Blake's slaver partner on Klensal and rescued Chairman Burns from a bunch of angry L2 biotics. The fight getting to the Chairman was hard, but Kaidan was a great help reasoning with the leader of the group once we worked our way into talk with him. Everything ended peacefully. I have to say that something really weird is going on in this galaxy. We found the missing survey team and all had been turned into some sort of husk. Will continue to investigate.
(Note to Gourmetrix on P/R project. P/R score is currently 70 Paragon and 83 Renegade - due to Rogue VI unlocking sooner than it did in my first playthrough since I'm killing all enemies outside the mako and getting more XP for that; and I didn't even glitch the laser for XP on Therum! All charm/intimidate point unlocks so far have occurred precisely when expected in accordance with the "Without Bring Down the Sky" table shown at the bottom of the Morality Guide. I'm almost positive this will play out the same way as it did a couple of years ago, but will complete the playthrough to make sure regardless.)

I last play Mass Effect games in 2013. I recently started to play the games again. Here's a summary of my new male Shepard. William Shepard. Soldier Level 51 Kaidan died on Virmire Oh, that's something I am now really looking forward to in my second play-through!

I just did the Asari colony as well! I should have expected that, but seeing the ending of Samara's personal story took me by a very pleasant surprise. Banshees were great! I know, it's a touch cheesy, but I really liked both of the quests I have seen so far with the ancient -like ruins and artificial suspenseful darkness. I am intensely curious how it turns out of I pick Mornith in the next run over Samara.
I need to finish running around Citadel talking to everybody, then I will be ready to complete Rannoch's mission and that should bring me back on the main-story track .
Alas, this weekend is all family-booked up, so I am going get even less Shepard-time.

:: Memories of Cornelius / Part ____ ::
Another day another fight, or another day another flight into the depths of babysitting the galaxy...
In attempts to alleviate the boredom of the past days caused by my execution of legacy crew members, genocide and violation of inter-organic rights in the 21st degree, I said CHESS!
But something didn't seem to be catching on. You know there is a problem aboard when even Traynor is not interested in chess. (reminder to self : If need to terminate arises, slam with chessboard across face, proceed to shout CHECKMATE)
So instead I have decided to hang out with my second best-friend, Aria !
About one drinking competition later... And one 'resting session' during which I assumed "Rule 1" of her territories... It still felt a bit quieted out.
Thankfully the quietness broke when in the middle of my post-coitus smoke break the Asari Councilor called, of course I expected her to pay up for not forgetting her birthday but the first words out of her sushi-face were OFFICE. And as per expectations, in the OFFICE there has been a series of tears shed over Thessia.
Thessi this Thessi that TheShiat did you expect ?!
I've been telling you as a councilor to do something about having more strippers than soldiers, but you shrugged off the question because my face had the slightly extreme smell of 20 jello shots !
I told you again that I am getting more honey requests on my exmail than recruitment reports, but you weren't picking up and I don't even wonder why... (reminder : Check Councilor and Aria's history for physical interactions, decide which to date and which to strangle with a piano wire)
Fairly I wish she'd have joined me on my past tour to the Monastery, I could have pointed at those naked Banshee monstrosities and said "THIS IS WHY YOU DRESS UP FOR EVERY OCCASION, EVEN REAPIFICATION!"
None the less Admiral Brackett Fackett of Hacketville is telling me to go there, but because he didn't say the magic word I think in the meantime there will be a few shore leaves on garden planets so I can hunt down more rare animals for my wardrobe...
Maybe I'll go square down at a hotel and buy the most expensive room for myself, then just wait until the Reapers blow up the planet and walk out without having to pay !
Well... Off to the land of milk and honies !

Vance Shepard (cont'd)
Mission Log: Mavigon - Took out Blake's other slaver partner. I decided to take the Asari and have to respect her. The girl can hold her own in a fight. I have to envy her ability to throw out singularities... something I was never able to master, so I focused on gaining some Decryption skills instead.
Private Log: On our way out of the Gemini Sigma cluster, we encountered a freighter just drifting in space. I grabbed Ash and Tali and we boarded it. Everything but basic life support had been shut off and the ship seemed completely deserted. When we got to the cargo area, I tripped an explosive device. Someone had set up similar traps all over the ship. In the med bay, we encountered one "survivor" - if you could really say that. Tali said she couldn't detect any brain functions. Still, I wanted to find out more about what was going on before doing anything. What followed, though, has really shaken me up. Turns out Jacob had a girlfriend on the crew. We found her recordings and it sounded like she really loved him a lot. Seems she killed the other crew members because they wanted to turn off his life support and she wasn't ready to give up hope on him yet. I wondered... if I ever were so nearly dead and drifting unconscious in space fighting for my life, would I want my loved ones to just give up all hope and go on with their lives without me or would I want them to go to any lengths to find a way to bring me back? In the end, it wasn't a question I would have to answer. Julia surprised us as I was listening to the last log and hit me with a warp so hard that I collapsed... Ashley killed her in order to protect me. With Julia now dead, it just didn't seem right to leave Jacob drifting all alone in space... I turned off his life support. Ashley said I did the right thing. No doubt, she'd move on without me... and maybe that's as it should be.

Jeff Shepard:
Followed Traynor's suggestion and went looking for some ex-Cerberus scientists who were on the run. This facility was led by Dr. Brynn Cole. There were also a lot of researchers and their families. Crazy stuff here. Had to put the AA guns online and reactivate the satellite array before we could evacuate. Got everyone out alive and gained some more brains for the Crucible project. For scientists, they were damn handy with the guns.

Completed Kasumi's loyalty mission. Finally got a locust. I have always liked this mission. I got to say, if I were Hock I wouldn't allow that girl in that weird outfit anywhere near my estate. Shep went to the prison ship purgatory to grab Jack, the warden wanted to capture him, bad decision. In the end, Shep killed the warden and a bunch of mercs, recruited Jack by giving her full access of the Cerberus database. Speaking of this mission, when Warden Kuril told Shep to get in the cell, the player had a choice to say something in the line of let's talk this through or negotiate. This choice is on the top right of the dialogue menu, so I assume it's a paragon option. I couldn't think of anything more bizzare than this line. If this situation Shepard should have directly told the warden to go to hell and come out guns blazing. This is just one of many options that don't make any sense.
Shep then went get Grunt. After retiring many mercs and a couple of Krogans, William bumped into an old acquaintance, Rana Thanoptis, and he spared her again, because he didn't see the point of killing at that point. Zaeed, of course, told me that this decision would bite me in the ass one day. Back on Normandy, William let Grunt out of his tank and talked to the Illusive Man.
William went to Horizon, killed some Collectors and met Ashley Williams after the fight was over. She was angry with Shep and since I brought Garrus with me, she had a line for him too. The meeting didn't end so well, and the Collectors still took many colonists away with them. Speaking of the colonists, I have never liked that cowardice mechanic who told Shep to do something against the Collector ship. I have always wished there is an renegade action to shut him up with a punch in the face.
Illium next time.

You know what's not fun? Hardcore insomnia. You know what is fun? ME2!
--I grabbed Tali, using Jacob and Garrus. Jacob has got squad ammo going now and Garrus has 3 out of 4 points into Overload. Kal is going to live, because he always will with my Shep's. He's too badass to go down like that.
Anyway, with this Shep I've noticed that Jacob and Alex get along surprisingly well. I think it's because, as a player, I can relax more and not have to worry about picking the wrong option when I'm trying to be nice. I also don't have to hear that kinda breathy tone when speaking to him that FemShep has.
--Went to Illum and did some much needed shopping. I talked to Shiala. While I enjoy helping out Zhu's Hope again, I still can't stand her touching Shep's face. I mean, she's green and one of the last times Alex saw her, she got spit out of a pod on a dying mindcontrolling plant. He's not really the touchy-feely type, especially not from someone who had the face of evil clones trying to kill him. Where's a renegade interrupt when you need one?
--Talked to Parasini as well. I still get a chuckle out of that quest, mainly due to Parasini's comments about the Asari as a whole. It was a nice callback to Noveria, especially since the codex for the planet states that Illum is the asari version of Noveria.
--Also chatted with Conrad. On the PC version, it shows on Gibbed that both the Renegade check from ME1 (pointing a gun at him,) and the Paragon check are ticked off on the plot flags. I guess the devs like the badass type? I hadn't seen it before until I played the PS3 version. I find it a lot funnier with that reaction.
Of course, I had to stop by and see my favorite asari in the series. "Can you get this idiot out of here before I slap his ass with a Singularity?"
--Recruited Samara, took Zaeed and Garrus with me. They are my preferred combo, since it's harder to set off the biotic toxic with Concussive Shot and Overload. I barely used any power other than Geth Shielding and timed my shots carefully. Only one canister broke near my location and that was from Cutscene Damage at the beginning of the boss fight. I somehow missed the evidence to bust Pitney For, but I'm not going to stress it.
Zaeed has the best reaction to the "Biotic God" if you go Paragon: "Sleep well, you deluded jackass."
--I realized something about Samara and the style of her armor. The general design does remind me of something very old fashioned, like a knight. I think the reason for the extreme neckline has some basis in actual Asari lore.
Matriarchs are revered for their wisdom and grace. When they hit that stage in their lives, their bodies change. Since they don't have really any serious hangups about sex and clothing, they see it as a point of pride. Samara shows off so much of her body as a sign of her power to the other Asari. She has the body of the a matriarch, and the code of a Justicar. It's like the beautiful colors that can be seen on some of the most poisonous creatures in the wild. It's a warning to those that might cross her.
It doesn't change that I find the armor ridiculous from a design standpoint. However, that's more linked to the exposed flesh and breather masks that many of the squadmates can somehow survive and use out in space. At least there is a decent lore reason for the Samara's armor design that I can see.
--Thinking about Jacob, I've concluded that Jacob is a pretty decent character. For folks that were missing the more structured and (fairly) good hearted Alliance, he's a nice fill-in. He's not the issue. The issue is that his story is dull as bricks.
He was a Corsair, which you can't even have Shep ask for details other than the bare basics. Gotta check the Codex for full details. He never mentions his mother, and his father was very absent. He doesn't really mention where he came from, his childhood or his biotic training. Nor does he go into further details about how Miranda and him saved the Citadel from the batarians. He's just...there, with a very shallow story.
Kaidan, even in the first game, talks about where he's from, what it was like being in Jump Zero, ect. I think he has a pretty solid connection to the lore, considering he was one of the first generations of successful and trained biotics. Hell, his L2 implants and how they affect him also tie into the lore. Right there it says a lot about the learning curve that humanity had gone through prior to 2183.

So now it's screwed up the other way, because I actually did point a gun in his face..

Conrad is a ditz. He's a genius ditz, but he's still a little off. So just RP like that.

Let's face, the guy just isn't all there. I wanted an option to stop Jenna from going off with him.

Oh, come on! They would have the smartest, most airheaded, naive kids in the galaxy.
Conrad would also be the kind of creep to name all of his kids after Shepard. Sheppy, Shepard Jr, Shepard the 3rd.

I usually always lose Miranda, Thane and Jacob in the suicide mission. This is simply because I don't like their ME3 storylines. Miranda and Thane are too good as characters to warrant what they are stuck with. Miranda gets Shepard to the Citadel 3 times and each time, when help is offered says, 'no thanks. I have to do this myself.' I don't like to see her reduced to that (even tho' she is Cerberus). Same with Thane. Not so much for dying, he made a silly move but keprals is messing with his brain, but for tossing him crumbs in his dialogue at Huerta. Pride. And as for Jacob - well, the loyalty mission ick and himself has not much to do. why couldn't I leave Liara there?

Vance Shepard (cont'd)
Mission Log: Fortuna System - Met with Helena Blake on Amaranthine. After seeing what her partners had been up to, I decided to try to convince her to disband her gorup and arrest her. Unfortunately, she indicated that she would rather die than go to prison; so... she's dead along with the rest of her gang.
Mission Log: Strenuus System, Horse Head Nebula - Spotted another derelict freighter in this system; and upon closer inspection, discovered it was The Majesty. Further scans led us to the planet Xawin where we eventually discovered Garoth's brother... dead. Have decided to divert to the Citadel to inform Garoth.
Mission Log: Luna - Decided to deal with Hackett's Rogue VI while en route back to the Citadel... could have sworn it signaled for help before it completely shut down.
Private Log: Looking at the earth from the moon with Ashley there was... intoxicating. Gah... what are you thinking, Shepard?
Private Log: Returned to the Citadel to tell Garoth about his brother and was ambushed by a Rear Admiral wanting to inspect the ship. Of course, I let him inspect it, but he certainly was less than impressed with the aliens on my crew. I think I was able to see that the Normandy is a great human innovation despite it having been co-developed with the Turians. In the elevator, I got a hint that Ashley might be starting to get interested in Kaidan. She seemed impressed with the way his biotics are improving. Again, I could feel a hint of jealousy starting to creep in. I decided to stop in at Flux and take Ashley up on an earlier offer to show me her dance moves. It might have been a mistake though. Everybody knows that I can't dance... or at least they do now. Gah, Shepard... what are you thinking?
Private Log: I also met up with an Asari diplomat who wants me to track down her missing sister. Hopefully, this side job will work out better than Blake's and Garoth's. I could get used to the extra money. Have also discovered the benefits of doing a little gun running. Dr. Michel pays now pays very, very well for used weapons.
Mission Log: Stopped in to speak with Anderson at the Embassies. Udina was there. Personally, I'd like to throw Udina out the airlock... going just like the Turian councillor about the Prothean ruins on Therum. I think Anderson agrees. I asked how he was holding up... not too good by the sounds of it. (Note to self - Gah Shepard - at least try to keep this sort of shit out of the mission logs.) It's a good thing I stopped by though. Anderson was able to give me a little extra intel on Noveria. Also got some info from a shopkeeper in the markets.

I was not planning on playing any Mass Effect at all until later this weekend, but then decided to pick it up last night for no real reason whatsoever.
Shawna Shepard: 1. (ME2) Reset her skill points back on the Normandy. (Import into ME3).
2. Got called into a meeting with the defense committee, just in time for the Reaper Invasion. Managed to escape Earth on the Normandy, but Anderson chose to stay behind.
3. Ordered to go to Mars by Admiral Hackett. Found Cerberus had taken over the Mars archives. Met Liara who immediately re-joined the crew. Made it to the archives.
4. Had a quick chat with The Illusive Man over holo, then chased down a Cerberus mole who stole some data. James crashed a shuttle preventing her escape. The mole turned out to be a robot. The robot beat up Ashley. Shot the robot.
5. Brought Ashley to the Citadel for surgery. Met the council, but they refused to help, but they also explained how to get help. First order of business: recruit the Turian Primarch.
6. Had a bad dream. Talked to crew aboard the Normandy, picked up the space hamster and model ships lying around.
7. Scoured the galaxy for credits and resources. Landed on Manae, Palaven's moon. Shot some husks. Picked up the Viper.
8. Talked to a Turian general. Got communications working again. Located the Primarch. Garrus joined the crew. Rescued the Primarch. He wants to the Krogan to join a war summit.

Checking out Sanctuary proved to be creepier than I'd anticipated. A Husk factory run by Miranda's psychotic dad.
Ripped up the Armax arena with two krogan. Good times.
Threw a party and ended up in bed with Garrus, again. Slightly alarmed about how Javik was in the en-suite the whole time, or why Kasumi thinks I keep my knickers on a different floor to my bedroom? (even more alarmingly the best way I can HC this, other than having Kasumi roving round Shep's actual bedroom, is for that closet to be the laundry room and those are Shep's dirty knickers... or freshly laundered ones.) Why can't I fix Kaidan up with someone? Miranda? Jack? Steve? I think my favourite part was Grunt though, he was adorable, especially rambling drunk in the shower. Also discovered that Garrus' dancing ability is limited to the Tango, he can't do anything else to music.
Following that we decided it was time to visit the Illusive Man at home, slightly freaked out by revelations that I was actually dead before, but Garrus was good about it. I finally got to stick it to Kai Leng, literally. That was for Thane you midget ninja bastard... there's a new rule , "Don't f*** with JenShep!". Next time, the Reapers get it!
Shepard out...
