Started LE2. Importing Shepard was good. I was surprised it imported the hair. I could make a couple tiny tweaks, but it's good enough. I went back to an earlier save to play around with the trilogy save editor. I decided to give Shepard green skin. hahaha. Could say it was a side effect from the Lazarus Project.

- Was forced to kill Nassana's sister instead of saving her. - Chased down Cerberus after Kahoku's transmission, sadly finding him dead eventually. - Followed Hackett's request to find a lost espionage probe, dealing with the mastermind behind the Skyllian Blitz in the process. - Received another task from Hackett to bring in a man called Major Kyle. Shepard entered the compound in peace and successfully persuaded the major to come along. - Saved Terra Nova from some Batarian shits, but Shepard wanted to save the hostages, so he had to let Balak go. He swore he would track him down someday (ha, see you in a few years!). - Returned to the Citadel and picked a bone with Nassana, but accepted her credits and even struck a further deal (don't mind if I do!), met Zabaleta, bought some more licenses, gently sent Conrad home, gave Schells's tool to Doran, called mother afterwards on the Normandy. - Intimidated Helena Blake to disband her little group and stay clean. - Touched down on Noveria. Got caught up in all the messy stuff, from Anoleis being arrested by Parasini to killing Benezia, releasing a rachni queen and purging her children afterwards. Had some chats with the crew upon returning to the Normandy. Rorik went back to Opold to ask about the package again. "All right, I'll help", Rorik said with a hint of resignation in his voice. He had reconsidered simply out of the wish to spite this asshole Anoleis. Upon returning to the hanar, Rorik persuaded it into some more credits, content with how everything played out. Ashley smirked next to him and shook her head. "What?", Rorik raised an eyebrow at her. "You're awful, Shepard... Sir." "Hey now, could come in handy in case we're getting some drinks at Flux..." Ashley snorted, throwing her hands defensively into the air. "Alright, alright, I didn't say a thing." Wrex rolled his eyes and groaned as he stomped ahead the two of them.Pics And here we are, into headcanon territory again... Goodness, I know I ramble and keep repeating myself, but I friggin LOVE Shotgun Engineer, who'd have thought this is so much fun! I was really struggling with the decision to do BDTS before at least another main mission, since this can be quite challenging, but it was not even remotely a problem with this setup. I was pleasantly surprised Finally invested some points in Shield Boost too. I'm also fairly sure I never went back to talk to Matsuo after initially meeting Parasini/Anoleis, still amazed after all this time about all the dialogues (also, thanks to goldfish brain re-discovering stuff is great!). Had a blast doing stuff there

- Boarded a ship with Ashley and Garrus to finally put a stop to Dr. Heart's evil doings. Shepard tried to take him in, but since he resisted, the salarian is now dead. - Went to Ontarom to investigate someone killing former Alliance scientists and met a man named Toombs, who wanted to shoot the doctor on-site. After hearing what that guy did, Shepard could understand, but he convinced Toombs to let him arrest the doctor instead. - A short trip to the Citadel was in order, shopped for some more upgrades and helped a C-Sec officer get rid of a preaching hanar. Jelly was too stubborn to buy a permit for his own good. Headed to the wards and convinced Zabaleta to finally get some help and listened to Udina giving Shepard flak about releasing the rachni queen. Not that Shepard particularly cared about what he had to say - Hello Hackett, my old friend, he called to find a probe again. So Shepard touched down on Eletania and stole the module from a monkey, who stole it in the first place! Defeated some tin cans on the way out. - Finally headed to Feros and shot more geth. Shepard also helped the colonists with their troubles and gained a massive amount of Paragon points. He drove the geth from the colony for good and dealt with a giant plant lifeform afterwards. It didn't want to release the colonists, so it had to die. An asari gave Shepard the cipher and stayed on Zhu's Hope to help. - Got ambushed by Ashley and Liara, and to ease the tension made a dumb joke about a threesome. Ashley didn't take it well and stomped off, while Liara was glad Shepard chose her. Um, sure. Yeah... Awkward! Shepard thought that it was perhaps for the best, given Ashley's stance on aliens they would probably have butted heads a lot anyway. Not to mention her mean jealous comments... Rorik caught the creature in front of Wrex from the corner of his eye and turned towards them. He shot the creature's head off just as it was about to spew its acid, the lifeless body dropping down to the krogan's feet. He was covered in green goo, wiping away the nasty smelling pieces off his face. "You okay?" "Fine. Thanks", Wrex nodded appreciatively. Rorik playfully slapped a hand on his ally's shoulder as he moved ahead to the next corridor. "Anytime, buddy."Pics Bit sad I only had 8 points in Intimidate and had to use Charm on Ethan Jeong (I don't like the Paragon option there so much, but it still fit this Shepard, and I haven't had Jeong alive for some time ). I also headcanon Shepard jokes about the threesome, because damn is this whole scene bad!! And since I didn't want to really choose either of them for... reasons, it was the "best" way. I didn't actually think I would already get this scene, but now that it happened, oh well, Liara's ninjamance obviously still worked

Finally finished with all side quests - Got tasked by Hackett to save some drugged researchers from biotic terrorists. Despite trying his best to save everyone, there were some casualties unfortunately. - Cleaned out a husk-infested colony, everyone once human, on Chasca. Seems that this Cerberus group had to do something with this, showing only once more they're into some real nasty stuff. - Followed a distress call to an ExoGeni facility, only to learn that they tried to make Thorian Creepers docile. Shepard would have liked to say they deserved what they got, but a lot of people died there. Even more since the scientists refused to be taken in. - Put an end to a husk infestation on a derelict freighter and then stopped a geth incursion in a cluster before it got out of hand. Gave Tali a copy of the data gathered from their main outpost. - Helped Lt. Durand and her team, and purged a rachni infestation within the Styx Theta cluster, then followed a lead to a ship in the Gorgon system and took care of the rachni there as well. Another thing Cerberus was responsible for (as usual, Ashley developing amnesia in regards to Cerberus). Rorik sat down for a moment on top of the pyramid, the view breathtaking. His gaze wandered along the seemingly endless mountains, the beautiful sun, turning the sky into all kinds of pretty colours. He wished his dad was around to see all this, hear his son tell him the stories about chasing Saren, about working with aliens. All the amazing things he had seen. Rorik missed his dad on many occasions, but today was harder. As always on this day. He would have been 55. Rorik caught a glimpse of Ashley down below, looking up to him. He hesitantly waved at her, but she turned away in an instant. All it took to destroy whatever they had was a stupid joke, and he had hurt her. Maybe she could forgive him one day. He sighed and got up. "Happy Birthday, Dad", Rorik muttered, shooting one more glance at the horizon before rejoining his team down below.Pics Got the Onyx X armor now, weee! I also have the Katana X and even despite not being the most damage-dealing shotgun this thing is a beast. I look so forward to ME2, too bad I have to wait until the Collector ship again for Shottie training

Karen Shepard (Sentinel, ME3LE): 1. Reapers started reaping. Karen went to Mars. Recovered Prothean plans for an anti-Reaper weapon, an Asari, a broken robot, and an injured squadmate (Kaiden). Presented the plans to the council, who did nothing.
2. Traveled to Eden Prime to pick up a Prothean relic. Had to fight off some Cerberus vultures to get it. The relic was some frozen Prothean soldier. He's a bit grumpy.
3. Went to Palaven and recovered the new Turian Primarch. (Had to reload an autosave mid-mission because a husk got stuck somewhere.)
4. Citadel chores.
5. Rescured the students from Grissom Academy.
6. Met with diplomats for a war summit. Extracted a Krogan female from a Salarian STG facility. Wreav is an ass. Mordin is still an eccentric genius.
7. Wrested control of a giant cannon from Cerberus hands.
8. Extracted a Turian platoon from Tuchanka, then helped them finish their mission to defuse a giant bomb.
9. Rescued some civilians from being abducted by Cerberus.

Edited my previous post, since I forgot I did Eden Prime and picked up Javik.
Did some testing with Defense Drone. Looks like rank 5 Fire Rate is still bugged in the Legendary Edition. I will post a video showing it some time later tonight or tomorrow. Depends when I get to it.

Karen Shepard (Sentinel, ME3LE): 1. Raided a Cerberus lab and recovered some Reaper artifacts.
2. The Dalatrass offered full Salarian support in exchange for sabotaging the cure. Took the deal, and convinced Mordin to accept the deal as well.
3. Attacked a Cerberus base and took all their fighters.
4. Caught up with Aralakh Company. Destroyed a Rachni nest and a fake Rachni Queen. Dagg died. My first (or maybe second?) time doing this mission post-Shroud, so I got to hear some different early-mission dialogue.
5. Searched for Dr. Garneau at a mining facility on an asteroid. Garneau was dead and Leviathan was not there.
6. Helped Aria take back Omega from Cerberus. She choked out Petrovsky.
7. Stopped Cerberus from taking over the Citadel. Kirrahe took a bullet for the Salarian Councilor.
8. Citadel chores. Got another lead on Leviathan. Joker saluted me because Kaiden took off or something (I never got the scene with Kaiden because I went to the Normandy from Bryson's office I guess?)
9. Galaxy scans. Back to the Citadel for more chores. This time took the proper exit, talked with Kaiden and invited him back on board the Normandy (not that he will ever be used since Liara and Javik are better).

- Headed to Virmire at last. Good they arrived when they did, as Saren wanted to breed an army of krogan. Things got a little heated with Wrex, but he trusted the Commander, so Wrex, Shepard and Garrus infiltrated the facility. Unfortunately, Shepard was put into a position to make a grave choice at the end of the mission. He headed back to the bomb site to make sure the geth pouring in there wouldn't interfere with their goal to blast this place into oblivion. He still believed he could save Ashley too afterwards, but there was not enough time. - Frustrated by the events on Virmire and the Council and Udina grounding the Normandy afterwards, Shepard moped around by his locker as Liara came by to comfort him. He snapped at her, but he appreciated she was there for him and apologised. Liara helped him up, almost pulling him into a kiss. They had flirted a little here and there, but Shepard was somewhat glad Joker interrupted them. He had enough on his plate, and Ashley's death was still raw. - After a short interlude at the Citadel where Shepard kindly told a Terra Firma politician he won't ever support them and convinced an addicted negotiator to get help, he met Anderson at Flux. The Captain had the bold plan to release the Normandy, and Shepard told him to try Udina's office. - Stole the Normandy and headed to Ilos. Liara came by, surprisingly wanting to spend the night with Shepard, but with everything on his mind and her never having done this before, nothing about this felt remotely right. He sent Liara away and got ready to stop Saren instead. - Chased the rogue Spectre through Ilos and the Citadel, until Shepard caught up to him in the Council chambers. Shepard talked Saren into suicide and saved the day for the Citadel, the Council and actually the whole galaxy by preventing a Reaper invasion. Rorik carried Kaidan into the Normandy's cargo bay and helped him sit down on the floor, the exhausted biotic insisting he was fine. Wrex and Garrus closed in while Rorik yelled at an approaching crew man to get Dr. Chakwas and something to eat. "Commander, look!" Rorik turned his head to see Garrus point outside, to a group of salarians racing for the cargo bay. He jumped off his feet and ordered Joker to wait for them, throwing his pilot's warnings about having to leave in the wind. Rorik recognised Captain Kirrahe and his eyes frantically darted over the rest of the men, in hope to see her , a naïve wish harbouring inside him. But she was not there. He ran his hands over his face, stopping at his open mouth, and exhaled as it sank in that Ash was really gone. Even though things didn't end well between them, he still cared for her. And he deeply regretted that he never got the chance to apologise. Rorik swallowed the lump in his throat, telling his team with a firm voice to assemble in the comm room in half an hour.Pic dump (gonna break it up a little): Virmire Stealing a ship! End game It's really stupid you can go neutral there only to have to pick in ME2 anyway... Final build. Yaaay, all done! Had a blast with this Shepard so far and can't wait for ME2 now The scenes with Liara also turned out really well, it fit quite nicely with what I had in mind, so that was a fun experiment I was also really surprised she shared she was a virgin in the pre-Ilos scene, as I deliberately skipped her talk about that earlier. Cool to see there are even more dialogue variations out there, it's just crazy! (might have to try that with other romances now, argh, though I think this might rather have to do with Liara's bugged ninjamance, but now I wanna knooooow ) Gameplay-wise I had such fun again with Engineer, it's definitely one of my favourite classes. I don't think I could ever decide between Adept and Engineer, I really love them both a lot

Karen Shepard (Sentinel, ME3LE): 1. Blew up a monastery. Only one survivor.
2. Rescued some former Cerberus scientists.
3. Rescued Ann Bryson
4. Citadel meetups. Used Ann Bryson as an antenna to locate Leviathan. She got a bloody nose.
5. Found Leviathan. Convinced the idiot to join the war effort.

Karen Shepard (Sentinel, ME3LE): 1. Visited Anderson's apartment. Had lunch with Joker. Got attacked by mercs. Went to a casino, then the Citadel archives. Met my clone. Got trapped by the clone. Escaped from the trap. Clone tried to steal the Normandy. Beat the crap out of the clone then literally kicked her off the ship.
2. Spent time crewmates at the apartment and the Silver Sun Strip.
3. Completed challenges in the Armax Arsenal Arena.
I really struggled with the final Unusual Scores mission (Fatal Error). I kept dying on the final wave. Not really sure why. I am just glad that is done.

- Woke up in an unknown facility and had to shoot my way through. Met a man named Jacob and a pretty but a tad bitchy woman named Miranda and spoke with the Cerberus boss. - Went to Freedom's Progress to verify colonist abduction rumours. Toured the Normandy afterwards and got to know the crew a little. They don't seem really bad, even if they joined Cerberus. - Citadel business: picked up Kasumi, then met with Anderson and confirmed Shepard is on his own, oh well! Got Spectre status back, some endorsements, bought pets, ship models (haven't done that in a long time!) and some upgrades, helped a quarian, displayed great memory skills by naming all 8 lost Alliance cruisers to Khalisah, drank at Dark Star until passing out, felt good enough after to dance (I guess)! Disappointed a krogan due to no fish in the lake. Bummer. - Headed to a prison ship to pick up Jack. Didn't exactly go as planned as the whole ship went down, but Jack agreed to help, striking a deal to get access to Cerberus files. Shepard was curious to see what she would uncover. Rorik paced around his cabin, rubbing his temples. He was confused. Greatly confused. There was much to digest, now that he had some time for himself to think, to wrap his mind around everything. He was gone for two years, had actually died, colonists were vanishing in massive numbers, Cerberus and even Joker claimed neither the Council nor the Alliance had done shit in this time, all his friends were who knows where in the galaxy, and he was suddenly with a group of terrorists. And to top that off, meeting their operative had caught him off guard immensely. She was the enemy, a dangerous person, no one he would trust. And yet, there was something about her. Her beauty, her voice, the way she moved captivating him. Like she put a spell on him. Rorik groaned and decided to head to the CIC, punching in the next destination so he could hear everything from Anderson directly. He still had hopes this was all just a bad joke. And while en route to the Citadel, he'd take the opportunity to find out more about the people he was with...Pics: I'm still thinking about the squad setup this time. I might do Miri/Garrus again, but I've taken Garrus quite a few times lately and I have a lot of fun with Warp bombs added to my Engineer skill set, so I might end up with Miri/Jack. Haven't had that combo in a long time. Also planning who to kill this time I was first thinking Garrus, but now maybeee Tali, it's been ages since I first did that, but of course there can be no peace with the geth then in ME3. Though I had that for that last couple runs, would be nice to change up things I guess. This Shepard is also supposed to survive at the end, so it might be a bit tricky, but not impossible from what I read Decisions, decisions!

It's been ages since I posted in this thread. I just resumed a trilogy run I'd started last year, picking up with the beginning of ME2.
I've replayed the opening hours four times, being indecisive with my choice of class. I deleted a Soldier, then a Vanguard, and finally a NG+ Vanguard. NG+ in Mass Effect 2 is fun, because the early stages are pretty brutal. The NG+ world state wasn't what I wanted, though, so I deleted that Vanguard.
Eventually, I decided to play an Engineer. I've never completed an Engineer in ME2, despite playing through 100+ times with the other classes. That's my hook, now, righting that wrong.
John Shepard (Sheploo) Spacer War Hero
That's my favorite Shepard, and sort is Shepard for me, really. I can't say that he will remain an Engineer through ME3, since I'm in the mood for a ME3 Indra-Infiltrator; but we'll see. I gotta finish ME2, first.
I'd lost my myriad world-state save files with my old Xbox 360, and haven't completed MELE frequently enough to have rebuilt all of them. This one is very simple, vanilla state: Full Paragon with Kaidan and Wrex alive, no romance in ME1.
So far, it's been humorous to see just how powerful the Combat Drone is. I imagine Praetorians and Geth Primes units will ignore it, but it really exerts a lot of crowd control on common enemies.
I chose Warp Ammo as my bonus power. I may never even invest any additional points into it. It was an easy, basic choice that will be useful for at least a while. I've never used Dominate, because it bugs me, but I might retrain into Dominate later in the game.

The Praetorians will be confused by the drone, occasionally swiveling around to laser it, but they are the only enemy that will not be reliably distracted by the orange ball of awesome. My favorite class ever is ME2 Engineer with Drone, AI Hacking, and Dominate absolutely distracting and controlling everyone.

4. Shut down a Reaper Transmitter by killing a Reaper Destoyer. Took the opportunity to destroy the Geth fleet.
5. Restarted a fuel reactor.
6. Delivered some packages to people on the Citadel, spoke with the Asari Councilor, then spent time with some crewmates on the Silver Sun Strip.

John Shepard (Sheploo) Spacer War Hero That's my favorite Shepard, and sort is Shepard for me, really. Welcome back stranger!!!!

I have played original ME1 on Xbox and the legendary edition on PC. For me, I always get that conversation when I have enough Paragon or Renegade points to persuade them to leave. If I do not have enough points, then the fight starts automatically. I got it with 3 or 4 points put into paragon. Yeah so do I I normally put at leas ta couple of my early points while on Eden Prime points into Parago/Renegad et oge tme started so I can talk m yway out o fthos emoments. It's useful i fyou plan on playing a moer peaceful paragon Shep. Did that in my recent playthrough in fact.

I'm struggling with my ME2 Engineer, not in terms of gameplay, but just in keeping my interest. I might be too in love with other classes.
Sentinels are fun for their access to tech+biotics and their incredible resilience. If I had to play a single class across the trilogy, it would generally be Sentinel. (Two of my favorite builds in Andromeda are also Sentinels.)
Soldiers are the OP class that crushes the game, but also have a certain charm for being "simply a guy with guns" (and gene therapy and a thousand cybernetic implants).
Vanguard is maybe my favorite ME2 class because it has the fun ammo powers of the Soldier plus biotics (Charge and Reave, for me). They're relatively fragile in the early game, and Charging requires tactical discipline. (That's true for Insanity, at least). I always add Assault Rifles (Mattock) while still mixing in all the other weapon types. It's a very rounded experience.
It could be that I need to be playing Adept. They're a different beast in ME2, very tactical with little flash, but I love biotics. 🤷🏻♂️
Maybe I'll stick it out a bit longer. I haven't even left Omega, yet. I still need to go get Archangel. After that, I'll upgrade our weapons significantly by grabbing the Incisor for my squad and the Locust for my Engineer. For me, adding the Locust to a pistols & SMG Shepard is big improvement.
