While I'm cautiously optimistic by the added hair physics and ponytail on SisRyder, I don't have much faith in Bioware to deliver quality hair options after what they gave us in DA:I... there were like three decent options and does anybody remember the disappointment of the female qunari hairstyles (or lack thereof??) Google "Hitler finds out about female qunari hair" and watch the YouTube vid if you want a laugh  I made thread about qunari hair that was quite long.. so yep totally remember that. And the video it was quite hilarious.. and accurate. I'm too scared to be optimistic at all. I rather want to be positively surprised this time. So my expectations with hair are really low. |

This hair BioWare. It even looks good in marble. I'd love some wavy / curly / afro-textured / something other than perfectly straight hairstyles. I like the textures to this hair. It doesn't need much movement. It seems the trick would be lighting and colour to make consistent and enjoyable the complex texturing. The hairdo is called an "anastole" and is ancient Greek. It could possibly suit Sara or Scott. Partly, I also want it as a tribute to the mythological history of Andromeda. And it looks badass. |

We need to see the CC to really get a hold on what they've done this time and see where to go from there. But I'd say the default styles are looking better. |

Exactly. I don't necessarily have to have hyper realistic, naturally moving hair. A couple of incredibly basic, non-helmet hairstyles for each gender would be perfectly sufficient for me. Apropos FO4, I loved the fact that I could change the appearance of my character later on in the game. I start the game with a very clean and conventional looking character. I do keep their basic features throughout the game, but when things turn post-apocalyptic I change their hair and add dirt, facial hair, and war paint to reflect their new life. I would love to be able to change those things on my Ryder as well to better reflect their development as a character. |

I'm more of a "the more, the better", since I like to make many characters, and give them different hairstyles that encant their personality. But yes, changing appearance in game is a great features, and I used it a lot, both in Skyrim, Fallout, and Dragon Age 2-Inquisition. I like give new scars, or a sun-darkened skin, or a stubble-longer-shorter hairstyle while playng. It help my immersion and I can give my character some kind of development. |

I also loved how you could keep changing up your character in FO4. I had one completionist playthrough of over hundred hour and made my character older step by step during it: (start and end) It was nice that I could headcanon him becoming older with the game and having the journey. I'm not necessarily looking making my characters older with ME:A, but adding stuff like scar after hard life-threatening mission would make sense as well as getting new haircut once or twice when you visit some bigger city. |
