Will you be getting this for PC or Console?

Something to note about this is that Aaryn Flynn recently made a post on NeoGAF stating that, as of right now, the PS4 Pro is running at 1800p with checkerboard rendering.

What this means is that the video card actually renders about 50% of the image and then uses a filter to construct the rest of the image. In other words: It's using less resources to render the image at that resolution, resulting in a lower quality picture that is not as demanding on your hardware.

1800p is also a resolution of 3200x1800(assuming 16:9 aspect ratio), which 4k is generally considered 2160p with a resolution of either 3840x2160 or 4096x2160. While your TV is 4k, unfortunately the PS4 Pro does not support running games at true 4k(images and video however, it can do at 4k).

This is still going to look considerably better than the PS4 base which runs at 1080p or the Xbox One that runs at 900p. This is the standard for Frostbite games on those consoles.

Aaryn also said that the game runs at 30 FPS on consoles but that he thinks they got the cutscenes running higher than that(he wasn't 100% certain on this).

For anybody who actually cares about framerate and resolution =P

Well, I don't have much choice given my lack of any console more modern than a PS2, so, PC. However even if I did have the option to do otherwise, I'd still go for the computer - this is after all a shooter, so M+K is a must for controlling it.

I was planning on buy the PS4 version later down the year but I took advantage of that 30% off mistake-sale on Origin. So I take it as a divine sign I should be play the game on PC

I'll buy it on PS4 and then pirate it on PC or something.

Xbox One S for that HDR goodness. Then Scorpio. I am ready.

I have an Xbox One, but I'll be playing on my PC. I've been mostly playing recent games on PC and I like it better than console.
