Will you be getting this for PC or Console?

PC. Deluxe Edition - not so into MP to pursue Super Deluxe. If there is some Super Deluxe upgrade option later on and I love the MP at launch, then maybe.

I have a gaming laptop and a gaming desktop PC (hooked to TV) that has its GPU replaced a while ago by my partner's that we both use. While he'll get the game for himself to play on the TV, I'll be playing on the laptop. Technically, it should only be able to smoothly play MEA on Medium to High settings, and I'm hoping for High (DAI works well enough on that). In the future, I might fully revamp my gaming desktop PC situation, but for now, or this year, I'll settle with this. Anyway, it'd maybe be a treat in 2018-2019 to play a Mass Effect Andromeda Complete Edition on maximum settings .

For console, if I do get it on that (very unlikely), it'd be on the PS4 Pro next year or sometime - unless 'Scorpio' blows everyone away and gets soo many exclusives (very unlikely). If anything.


So yeah. Summary: I'll be playing on my laptop on hopefully High settings, keyboard+mouse or controller but I'll try k&m. I might not start until April or May once exam period is partially done or finished.

Xbox One and PS4.

If I never play another game on PC for the rest of life I'll die a very happy video game player.

After being a console player for as long as I can remember, I finally got a decent PC. I regret not making the switch earlier. It's not a monster rig but hopefully it can handle Andromeda on at least high settings.

I'm a PC gamer 98% anyway, but I'll totally admit that some games take me a day or two to get running right. I build my own rigs, so I have nobody to blame but me, really. I'll curse and pound my desk a bit, and I once paid overnight shipping for a slick new graphics card when a certain AAA open-world RPG came out and wouldn't run right... during the week I had taken off work to play it.... But anyway, mods are one of my top reasons for PC preference. That and I'm with some of the other old-timers who prefer the precision of shooting with mouse aim. The consoles are great though, so to each their own.

I preordered DAI and aside from the cutscene frame rate issue and occasional float glitch, my game ran fine on my laptop. By fine I meant at 20fps on ultra settings lol.

Then later I built my first gaming PC and I was even happier. Controller support was flawless as well.

Really no idea why so many people complain about the PC version...

I did. It indeed wasn't a pleasant experience before the patches arrived, but Bioware eventually sort it out.
More importantly, mod support.

Xbox One and PS4. I'll be playing on Xbox first though as it's my main console

Definitely getting on PS4, going to play the living hell out of the multiplayer and i've already got some friends who are planning on doing the same.

I played the trilogy on the PC due to only ever having PlayStation consoles thus the PC being my only option back then at the start. Plus I did a completely new build just over a year ago now so I tend to get most multi-platform games on the PC, that and a nice ultra-widescreen monitor which Bioware have said is supported so here's hoping it has been done well - it can really break immersion in some games when they force a pillarbox for cutscenes.

Not sure yet whether I will play with KB/M or try with a controller, it varies from game to game which I prefer.

Origin shows almost 3000 hrs of play.

So yes. Multiple times.

I'll probably end up with it on both. I'll go PC first for the pretty visuals and performance.

Then, I'll probably get it later on for console to play MP with friends because most of them have consoles.

Well, that includes multiplayer as well as the campaign. Still, kind of surprised myself.
