Are Nomad APC in ME: Andromeda unarmed or not? I didn't see that it have any gun turret or MG weapon and this is strange I would like that we can customization of Nomad weapons and Armor and that it change look when different weapons and armor is chosen

Yes it is. And if you haven't seen it, you can't have been looking very hard, there are several threads on it in this forum alone.

The Nomad do not have any offensive weapons, no. So if we encounter, say, a tentacle robot giant monster the best course of action is to leave it and fight on foot. Calling an airstrike doesn't seem to be an option either.

And too practical.

Calling an airstrike doesn't seem to be an option either. There's still no time for aerial bombardment. The Nomad do not have any offensive weapons, no. Yes because putting a machine gun or cannon on it would have been to costly for a project that cost what is probably trillions of dollars. And too practical. The volus bean counters had to cut costs somewhere.

Thought I heard something about a Shield Blast maybe you can count that as a weapon... of sorts... maybe. Indeed. In the briefing video there was a quick blurb about the shield blast and its ability to knock back enemies. Now personally I think it should ash them or gib them instead (think the Paladin's shield combo from UT2004/UT3), but it will probably be nonlethal.

If anything it gave me something to look forward to/ aspire to.

No, that is what the point is. The gameplay is made so you can win on foot. So if you can't win, you have to try a new way or wait and come back later. That's all there is.

No it doesnt have any weapons which is quite curious(why?), unless you can use it to run over people that is. Neither does our ship apparently, the reasons theyve given us is because were a scout and explorer, not military, but I still think putting a gun on the ground vehicle would have been a wise move just in case we run into some hostile alien life, imagine the concept! If im facing some huge alien monster or a machine, id rather do it in a mini tank with a cannon than on foot with a pea shooter.
