First time I hear about John Paesano. I've gone through a bunch of stuff he did, it all sounds like a generic Hans Zimmer-esque style and it was pretty meh. He doesn't have a distinct style like Trevor Morris in Inquisition where he did a fantastic job. I'm more hoping for music along the lines of the briefing videos music and the music from the 5 minutes gameplay trailer. The ideal for me is giving Chris Velasco and Sasha Dikiciyan a full game to play with as they did a phenomenal job in ME2 Stolen Memory and Arrival, as well as the tracks they were in charge of in ME3.

Jaal will be one of the Andromedean peeps from a race we haven't seen yet.

Drack definitely seems like he's gonna be my bud...always been partial to the Krogan - Wrex, Grunt, James (basically a Krogan). Also, can anyone explain to me why they have two separate release dates in different regions of the world? Why not just release it on the same date for everyone? Thanks, BioFan.

What manner of insanity convinced them to ditch Sam Hulick in favor of this no-name composer?

You mention more will be known about the squadmates. For me, I rather know more about the crew that will be posted on the tempest

What are you hoping for? I don't expect more than a few. A pilot, a doctor, an engineer who assists with upgrades, maybe a mechanic, probably that one person who wanders around saluting you whenever you pass by.

The crew are as important as the squadmates. I found the crew in the trilogy more interesting than most of the squadmates. Take away the comms, engineer, doctor, pilot and cook, what do you have? A bunch of squadmates stuck on a ship that goes nowhere with no doctor to heal their wounds, no engineer to replace a part, no comms to know if there's anyone out there and cook, at least a world class cook, to give a good meal to the squadmates

I was shocked to find out the DA2 composer later did Game of Thrones and Westworld, because none of that came through at all for me--but he did later say he was incredibly rushed at that time, so I guess I can't really blame him.

I kinda found it annoying that the engineers were always just standing at that console and Chakwas always sitting in that chair staring blankly at her computer screen. It'll be nice to find them in different places whenever you get back on the ship.

Chakwas did move around a couple of times in ME3 talking with Adams. I like for my Ryder to talk with them. Ask them about why they joined the project, learn about what they do on the ship. I wouldn't complain if my Ryder offered her/his help replacing a part with an engineer. Even while walking around, sits down with them in the mess hall to make small talk. It would be nice to have one of them on a mission that requires them for whatever reason. The squadmates provides protection while the crewmate does whatever. That could be a loyalty mission for the crewmate.

Good work, once again So my Jaal prediction is that he's a male (romanceable!) alien squadmate. And a quarian! (No, that's totally not just the wishful thinking of a quarian fan. It's because of his name! And, also... stuff!) *mutter*Though I guess he might be Andromedan*mutter* Actually, I'd be alright with that too - particularly if it were a Kett. A rebel Kett willing to join our cause would be very awesome. The character I'm most looking forward to meeting is Kallo. I love salarians, and he sounded very cool from his briefing narration. For multiplayer, I'm hoping it'll be fun to do by myself... I've never actually played multiplayer anything before, and though I'm willing to try it out this time around, my gaming time is my not having to deal with real people time so I imagine I'll mostly solo it if possible. Hopefully it's still enjoyable to do so - I don't care so much about the XP or even the potential gear rewards, but since it does sound like it ties in with the larger narrative a bit I'll want to participate in those missions at least sometimes.

Who do you think Jaal is? Who's your favorite squadmate so far? What're you hoping to see in the multiplayer?
I think Jaal is our 6th squadmate and an Andromeda native, hence why Bioware has not shown them at all in gameplay. They want to keep them a surprise. Can't really say since we know so little about them. The races available for us to play as, and hopefully some of my favorite like Geth.

The area I think everyone can agree that BioWare has never let us down is the music. I've never been not wowed by their selection They've never jumped the shark if that's what you mean, but I don't think DA2 or ME3 were that good. Not bad, just, it was very much in the background most of the game and I personally found the Clint Mansell stuff ill-fitting to the established style, as did I with the Krogan DA:O music.

What manner of insanity convinced them to ditch Sam Hulick in favor of this no-name composer? Possibly the same manner that allows the decision to be dismissed as insane without any knowledge of the music or circumstances. But that's like replacing John Williams as the composer of the Star Wars franchise. It's preposterous! What does Mr-Whats-his-face bring to the music of the game that Sam Hulick couldn't already provide? And Sam Hulick has a much better track record than Mr-Whats-his-face, even ignoring his history with the Mass Effect franchise. Unless of course Sam Hulick has declined to return to compose Mass Effect: Andromeda, which I can't fault him for.
