A heavy melee can bail you out some of the "can't do" bugs, e.g. can't shoot, can't switch weapons, can't pick up ammo. Very useful when playing with Volus pugs. |

This doesn't really fit into this thread, but not sure it deserves its own thread ...
MP on PC ... seems to have had a pretty significant upgrade to the graphics.
Folks I play with were discussing it, while we played the other night. I was rocking (or is that rolling) a Volus adept with the Geth scanner ... the difference in the visuals was pretty awesome. We were guessing what might be up ... BioWare testing stuff out for ME:A (I pointed out was using a different engine, but two of the folks in my group are techies and said that was not a show stopper)? Or maybe the on again/off again graphic upgrades to the trilogy have at least made some progress ... to maybe include some stealth testing on PC multiplayer?
Is anyone seeing this on console? Host was not running a modded game, we were all just running the unmodded version of ME3MP (with the exception of the Crusader firing and rubberband prevention mods). That's really what I'm curious about ... folks who have seen it ... on any platform ... and what they think of it. It seemed to hit MP (on PC) in the last two weeks or so.

Does anyone remember the concept art Mgamerz found hidden in some of the reflections on some of the maps? The other day the two of us found some more art hidden in reflections on Goddess. Some of it looks like concept art, and some of it looks like screenshots of parts of the map, but all of it was in areas inaccessible and non-visible during normal play, making them extra-hidden. Some of them are upside-down and I was too lazy to rotate them the right way, sorry. The upside-down ones can stitch together to make a 360 degree panorama. |
