A inverted Cheatgame: I called sassa to check it, we deal only 25% Damage and took more Damage. I Dont kick the Host, bécause i want to know what happened. The XP was normal, not realy a CHeat, but i dont like this. For a Moment i was afraid that someone from Bioware looked my solo-vidoes and nerved me. I was actually dealing around 45% to 50% of my normal damage. It was fun for a change. wavebend how he did that, please enlighten us?

As wavebend mentioned before, there's nothing stopping people from modding the game files themselves. You'd assume level details would be server-side... Level isn't problem. You can incrise levels, for example from 30 to 50 on HB, but you will deal same damage as in normal game and generate higher XP numbers. In this case, it looks like our willpower was 500, everything else was normal.

I have done my share of cheaters reporting, ranting and 'witch hunting' back in the day when the game was still being officially supported (at least on paper, we know in practice this game was never truly supported).
Back in the day XP exploits were quite common, and people would get like 20-40 promotions a day, 100 a weekend, this sort of bullshit. Quite a few people on the Leaderboards were cheaters. There were also 'godmode' cheating, in which their damage would hit numbers by the hundreds of thousands (one friend had a video posted on youtube, I searched for it now but unfortunately couldn't find it).
Anyway, all of these incidents were brought to the developer's attention. At one point they said they might do something about it - I even copied and pasted they saying that and wore as my signature on the original BSN forums - but, as you may well know, they never did shit about it. Bioware does not take their games seriously as we do. Once 'support' for DAMP was officially ceased, I decided no longer to care about cheaters - nor about the game, to be honest. Gladly cheaters soon get sick of their 'accomplishments' going unpunished and move on. Therefore, while the game is 2+ years old, most cheaters never really invested more than a few months in it. I don't expect this new wave of cheaters will last long either.
As for cheaters reporting here on the forums, I think it is important for blacklisting sake. Even if Bioware does not care, we do, and I personally would not like to share the same lobby with them.

So like giving darkspawn more armor, stats, etc

Doesn't add up. I was dealing 50% of my actual damage, Frank was dealing 25% of his, since he has 2x mine willpower. If that was the case he would deal 50% of his damage as well. That's why it's strange.

Maybe cheat engine, but that person could've also modded the stat files for normalization, modded the weapon files (that would also apply to other players in the team), modded the scripts, such as damage calculation/received for allies, etc..

I rarely play public, so I find few cheatgames, but I always look at who plays with a cheater. I have already removed one from my friend list, because he plays with cheaters and is a friend of one.

However everything is peer-hosted, so it might increase lag a tad or crash. I've chatted with a dev (inb4 luke) about it and I was told it is possible. Bunch of stuff is hardcoded for 4 players, but with some work it can definitely be done. I did notice the game had "soft" settings for the number of players, but modifying them didn't even cross my mind. What kind of issues would you expect? Guessing there'd be UI issues to begin with. 8-player games would be fun with double or triple mobs. Less so with double Zithers. I've played a fairly quick game with three before. Never again. I wanted to try four, but I think we'd have been forced to quit. Wouldn't like to know the kind of strain five or more could cause.
